Taani was still dozed off while Rey was in her room, standing by the crib looking at his baby who was sleeping peacefully just like his mother. He looked at the two most important people in his life. The gang already left for their homes as so many people weren't aloud to stay, not before asking Rey to call them if he needed anything and as soon as Taani gains consciousness.
He got up from beside the crib, and went to the chair beside the bed and settled down there holding Taani's hand softly. He felt her fingers twitching, and her eyes scrunching as her sleep was finally shooing away. Moving softly on the bed she hissed feeling slight pain in her lower body making him tensed, but then opened her eyes. Her vision was blur for a second before it fell on him who was looking at her with a small smile on his face. He said a little naughtily, smiling at his love,
"Wakey wakey my sleeping beauty, kitna soyi ho tum. Kabse wait kar rahe hain hum dono."
He complained like a small child, Taani said through her parched throat,
"Rey...."
He hummed kissing her hand and caressing her head, when she asked,
"Our baby?"
He smiled leaning towards her and kissing her forehead,
"Is finally here. Wait a min."
Saying that he raised her bed a little so that she was half lying and half sitting, before walking towards the crib. Taani looked on eagerly, she just had a glance of her baby boy before she passed out. Her heartbeat raced when Rey started walking towards her with their baby in his hands. Taani shifted a little as he came and settled down beside her, her eyes pinned on the little world in Rey's arms.
Smiling, Rey passed their boy to her, Taani with shaking hands took him in her arms. Tears flowed down her eyes as she looked at him, she said in complete awe,
"He is your mirror image."
Rey chuckled from beside her, taking her in a side hug and leaning forward looking at the baby,

"Yep, he is, but uski aankhein tumpe hain. And that's his best feature, tumhari eyes."
Taani looked ta him, he smiled kissing her head softly, she again looked ta the small wonder who was finally waking up, his hands were fisted and he moved them up and down, his small mouth opening for a yawn and Taarey went in awe seeing that. The baby finally opened his eyes and true to Rey's world, his eyes were like Taani.
She leaned down and kissed his forehead, she nuzzled her nose with the baby and Rey smiled at the scene. What can be more satisfactory than seeing your little baby and the woman you love playing together like that. His heart burst in joy at the beautiful view.
