Taarey were in the hospital for Taani's first check up with Dr. Shilpa. They were sitting in her cabin while Dr. Shilpa was doing her work. She put the file aside and smiled at the couple,

"So, ready for your first ultrasound?"
Taarey passed each other a nervous smile before Taani nodded at her in affirmation, Rey asked hesitatingly,
"Can I also come inside?"
Shilpa smiled in assurance,
"Of course you can Mr. Singhania!"
A big grin arose on his face hearing her answer, the trio moved behind the curtains where the nurse had made all the preparations of the ultrasound before hand. She asked Taani to lie down on the bed there straight on her back. Once Taani was lying down she held Rey's hand who was standing close to her in anticipation of what awaited them. His heartbeat was racing at a high speed as if running in a marathon. Shilpa raised Taani's top a little exposing her belly, then rubbing some kind of gel on her abdomen, which passed a cold sensation on her skin, she adjusted a machine on top of her belly and started moving it around. Soon the ultrasound vision was displayed at the screen in front of them. Shilpa smiled widely finally finding what she was looking for, she looked at the couple and pointed to a black little bean sized dot on the screen.
"That's your baby!"
Tears graced their faces and Taani's hold around Rey tightened, but he was just standing there shocked and tongue-tied. His breath was hitched inside his throat when Dr. Shilpa's voice reached their ears,
"I'll give you both a moment, would you guys like to have the copies printed out for you?"
Taani nodded absent-mindedly, the doctor left them alone. Taani held his hand bringing him out of his thoughts, he looked at her with a wide smile and teary eyes, a rare combination anyone could ever have on their face. He sat beside her and kissed her forehead lovingly,
