Author's POV

Taani was in the garden sitting on a bench after getting her Mehendi done, she wanted to be alone for sometime. All the events since their marriage to this day's morning were running in her mind and whens he gave it a thought, she realised he was right at his place. He never wanted to hurt her, he was just joking, whatever he has done for her screams his love for her but she overlooked it and just held on to his words.

She was now cursing herself for hurting him. Then she remembered what happened few hours before when he even refused to drink water from her hands, he was so angry at her that he didn't wanted to take help from her. Sharon who noticed all the small exchanges between the couple came there, she sat beside Taani. The duo sat in silence for sometime when Sharon decided to initiate the talk realising that Taani won't,

"Is everything okay?"

Taani looked at her startled as she was so busy in her thoughts, passing a small smile to her she nodded but Sharon could guess that it was a fake one so she said,

"Rey se fight hui?"

Taani looked at her helplessly, she didn't find it right to discuss about her married life with Sharon, whatever a husband-wife have it's between them, but she can atlest share her feelings with Sharon for that matter so she said,

"Hmm. And mistake meri thi, vo bas mujhe tease kar rahe the but mene baat bada di."

Sharon looked at her sympathetically and said,

"Agar tumhe lagta hai mistake tumhari hai to apologise to him, I am sure vo maan jayega."

Taani nodded her head in denial saying,

"Iss baar nahi manenge, vo bahot angry hain. He isn't even talking to me, mere haathon se paani tak nahi le rahe. Didn't you see how he pushed my hand when I tried to help him, pata nahi main kese unhe manaungi."

Sharon heard her but then was confused at why Taani feels he refused to take help from her,

"Taani, I know Rey angry hai but I think tumhe koi misunderstanding hui hai, Rey ne tumhare hand se glass isliye push nahi kiya coz vo angry tha."

Taani looked at her unbelievably,

"Sharon aisa hi hai, aapne dekha na ki vo meri taraf dekh bhi nahi rahe aaj, mujhse baat karna ya help lena to bahot dur ki baat hai."

Sharon shook her head,

"Vo thik hai, but I am sure Rey ne tumhari help nahi li iska tumhari fight se koi relation nahi hai. Maybe he couldn't tell you that time, but he has not eaten or drank anything since morning. Aaj usne bhi tumhare liye fast rakha hai or may be isliye usne tumhare haath se pani na piya ho as moon nikalne se pehle fast break nahi karsakte."

Taani's head snapped in her direction in shock, she never in her wildest dream thought that Rey would keep fast for her, she asked her to confirm,

"What? Really?"

Sharon nodded in affirmation,

"Haan, tum shayad room mein thi but subah usne sabke samne bola breakfast time par,ki vo bhi kuch nahi khayega aaj pura din as you are fasting."

Her eyes welled up with tears hearing her, now she was feeling worse than before. Rey always did so much for her but she overlooked all that in her insecurity. She vowed to never let her insecurities ruin her happy married life, she looked at Sharon with determination.
