AUTHOR'S POV

The show ended with a bang, loud hoots and shouts could be heard even after minutes the musical story has ended. For a minute, audience was in stupor seeing the end of the love story, they were hoping that it would be a happily ever after but alas not every tale turns out to end in a happy way. People were crying, lovers kept clinging to each other not wanting to get separated ever. It's so true that what a person can't express in words, it can be depicted through art. And the impact it has on people is far more grave than mere words. The D3 team has managed to achieve that. They left the audience ponder over the importance of love, friendship, career in life.

But the way the show affected one person, she was stumped would be an understatement. Taani was still sitting on her seat when the massive crowd of people were giving a standing ovation to the team. The whole team was beaming in joy on stage, their faces reflected happiness at the audience's response but Rey's eyes were fixed on her who was still on her seat gazing at nothing in particular. She was in a trance when her companion's loud claps broke her out of her reverie. She glanced around her to see all the parents looking at the stage with pride shining in their eyes. Her gaze moved back to the stage only to lock with the person who was still waiting for her to react. Their gazes were glued on each other, forgetting the world they drank the other person in, Rey's eyes were filled with tears while Taani's were moist that to after six long years. She could not remember if she ever cried in this long period of time but now her heart and eyes both deceived her. Jerking herself out of her emotional state she broke the eyelock much to his displeasure.

Everyone on the stage bowed before the audience and left the stage. The show has finally ended, they all took a breath of relief after months of hardwork. The team embraced each other, their emotions and excitement constant like the time of their first performance. The audience were leaving too while all their parents came backstage to meet them.

"I am so proud of all of you kids, what an amazing show. Vese yeh story ka idea kiska tha, it was such a nice one...." Ranvijay said to all of them cheerfully and Avantika continued after him,

"Sach me, the story was magical. It's a pity it had to end like this, I so wish the guy and girl would end up together forever." As soon as the words left her mouth Rey and Taani's head jerked towards each other, their gazes locked while the team was looking awkward when Nil said suddenly,

"Ohh aunty your wish has been granted, they are now going to be toge......" Vicky's light nudge stopped him mid sentence while the parents looked confused,

"Matlab?" Ragini asked on other's behalf when Sharon tried to change the topic,

"Kuch nahi Maa, yeh to bas aise hi. Chaliye we all will change and then let's head home." They all started leaving when Rey went towards Rishi who was standing with Taani and Ragini,

"Uncle, if you don't mind can I drop Taani home?" Taani was going to deny straight away but Rishi patted his shoulder with a smile nodding in agreement. He thanked them when they both left leaving Rey and Taani alone. He asked her to wait while he changed his clothes and went when she didn't even jerk her head in answer. He changed his clothes to the ones he wore in the start of the show, coming out of the changing room he found the whole gang waiting for him outside,

"What happened guys??"

"Did you talk to Taani, did she liked the performance?"

"How is her mood?"

"Can we meet her now?"

"We couldn't talk to her in beginning, can we now?"

"Why are you dropping her home? She can come with me."
