Episode 48: Journey in the Galar region! Goh vs Chloe!

Ash, Goh, and Chloe have been researching Pokemon from across the world. However, not much research has been done on the Galar region at all by anyone other than the Galar regions native professor.

"The only research done on Galar so far is on Dynamax. Could you try meeting Galar's professor?" Professor Cerise asked the trio. They all nodded.

They all called in a Corviknight taxi, and within 12 hours, they arrived in postwick.

Postwick is a pretty small town. It was where Leon, the current world champion grew up. "This should be where Professor Magnolia is!" Ash announced. "Gran? She's not here right now." A familiar voice said. She revealed herself to be Sonia. "I remember you! You were doing research on Galar's legend at Leon and Raihan's battle!" Ash recalled.

"Oh yeah, you're Ash! I see you brought another friend! I'm Sonia, nice to meet you!" She said. "Nice to meet you too!" Chloe said. "Truth is, I've only recently begun my journey. I only have my family's pet Yamper and an Eevee." Chloe explained.

"Well, it seems you should get one of the Galar starters!" Sonia took them to the battle court near the house where Leon was raised. "Don't worry, his parents won't mind me being here!" She then sent out the three starter Pokemon of the galar region: Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

(Replace Leon with Sonia and the protagonist and Hop with Ash, Goh, and Chloe)

"Scorbunny is an amazing Pokemon! You should choose it!" Goh suggested. "Maybe, but Sobble is a great friend! You should choose that!" Ash and Goh started arguing over which starter she should choose. Raboot and Drizzile just rolled their eyes.

"Well, in that case, I'll choose Grookey!" Chloe decided. Ash and Goh just stood there, shocked. "Nice choice! Now let's head to my research lab!" Sonia said.

Cue them running to the research lab

"This is my research lab, where I measure dynamax energy!" Sonia explained. "Wow, and you run it all by yourself?" Ash asked. "Well, my gran helps out from time to time, but for the most part, yes!" Sonia told them. "That's great and all, but where can we find professor Magnolia?" Goh asked. "Right from here in wedgehurst, you'll find a route, and she lives at the end of that route." Sonia told the trio.

Later, on the route...

"I wonder what Pokemon I can catch here!" Goh yelled out. Suddenly, they saw a Rookidee attacking a Blipbug! "Hey! Stop that!" Goh jumped in to protect Blipbug from the Rookidee. "Ash! You fight the Pokemon, I'll protect this one!" Goh commanded Ash. "You know I will! Gardevoir, I choose you!" Ash sent out a Gardevoir, and Drizzile entered it's battle stance too, in case it'd have to fight.

"Gardevoir, use dazzling gleam!" Gardevoir's dazzling gleam did some major damage to Rookidee, but it's resilience had it keep going. It started pecking at Gardevoir. "Now, use shadow ball!" Shadow ball was enough to knock it out. "Now Ash! Use a Pokeball to catch it!" Goh reminded him. "You're right!" Ash threw a Pokeball...and he caught it!

Goh got off of Blipbug. "Don't worry, you're safe now. It won't hurt you now." Goh told it. It seemed grateful for Goh protecting it, so it pulled out a Pokeball and caught itself.

After heading through the route for awhile, they finally arrived at professor Magnolia's house. "Well young children! I was expecting you, since professor Cerise gave me the call." She said as they entered. She welcomed them all inside.
