But don't worry, there'll be a follow up book, 2 actually. I'm just doing these like how the anime does them, in seasons.

Also I might explain this version of the XY ending at some point, but here's a TL:DR of it:
-Ash beats Sawyer same as before
-Ash ties with Alain
-The team flare arc goes the same
-Ash rematches Alain and wins
-Ash takes on the elite 4
-He loses to Diantha, but only because Greninja was damaged by her 2nd to last Pokemon.
