Chapter Twenty-Six

I was laying on my bed my bedroom door was locked I didn't want to talk to anyone. And I heard a knock.
"Hey Mirana, it's Samantha. The boys mom. I just wanted to talk for a bit."
I walked to the door and let her in. I went back to the bed and laid down.
"I locked it so the boys don't come in."
"Thank you" I said.
"You know I just wanted to say you don't need to hide yourself Emmanuel and Ezra will protect you I hope you know that." She said.
"I do but the thing is what if they weren't there. What if Ezra wasn't there too save me. I would've been taken and then what ? I'm scared this will happen again. Samantha he mentioned my dad. He's been locked up like had this guy been meeting up with him and planning something or am I just crazy." I cried. "I just want to be alone now that was not what I wanted my day to be. Had the guy been stalking me for a while. I don't know. I just want to be alone, please." I cried into my blanket.
" okay sweetie if there's anything you need just let us know."
She left and Anuel came into my room
"Mirana I just wanted to know if you were okay?"
"I am Anuel I'm just so scared now."
"I know but we were there Ezra will always be there for you. He cares and I hate to admit it but he really likes you you know and I mean I really like the girl I've been seeing so I know you two have been spending more time together. "
"Anuel I know I can tell you do. But you know Ezra I just want to take it slow for now with him I'm just glad you're not mad."
"I really can't be I know you like him." He said laughing.
I looked at him and held out my arms for a hug. It was nice to get a hug from my best friend I think I really needed it.
"I'll leave you alone now I'll tell Ezra that you're okay he's really worried."
"Thanks Anuel."
"Mhm." He said and left.

I was already asleep and I heard my door open and close. I felt someone climb into my bed. They grabbed me and pulled me closer.
It's just Ezra I can smell his scent he smells extremely good right now.
"Mirana I don't know what I would have done if he actually got away with you." He whispered and held me tighter. I turned around to face him and buried my head into his chest. His scent was stronger now that I was facing him.
Oh how I want him to be mine but can't yet. I was slowly starting to fall back asleep when I felt him plant a kiss on my head, I smiled this is the person I want to be with. I slowly fell back asleep.

  "How could you get caught?!"
"Sir, I didn't mean-"
"Oh not at all I'm sorry, my apologies. Sorry I brought you into this, but you put that on yourself brought the police involved. We are supposed to be careful you are lucky they let you off easy. Don't let that happen again I need my daughter away from them, and if you let me down one more time I'll get someone else to do the job for me."

There was a sudden change with Ezra after this happened to me he barely left my side at school, also have Anuel help him look out for me. I wasn't aloud to be left alone only in their big ass mansion. Which I was alright with. Instead of being trapped with those two I was being watched with all the maids and their butlers. It felt horrible not having as much privacy walking around the manor it was just weird to me now.
If I walked around the garden the would watch me closely.
"Excuse me miss but Ezra wants you back inside it's just getting late." One of the maids said. I nodded and followed behind her.
"Just a question, but if I were to want to stay out a little longer do you think he would've let me?"
"Umm, I would assume so, but after he told us about what happened he instructed that we made sure no one comes around here for your safety." She said.
Well at least I would not have to worry about anything.
"So it's just being heavily guarded now?"
"Yes." We made it inside. "I would gladly like to take you up to your room or if you'd prefer to do it yourself."
"Do you know if Ezra is in his room." I said lowly.
"I wouldn't know." She said and walked away.
I watched as she slowly walked away and I walked up the stairs I went to Ezra's door and knocked. He soon came to the door. "Mirana what are you doing here I thought you'd be in your room."
"I came here to talk with you." I said and he led me in.
"What is it?"
"Listen I know you're just trying to protect me from that guy, but I would like it if it weren't so noticeable for me. I feel constantly watched you know and I just don't like the feeling. It's an uneasy feeling for me. Can you just make some of it go away?"
"Mirana they let the guy go. He might know that you are here he already know where you go to school."
"Ezra, please I know that's not easy for you, but I want to feel somewhat free again."
"Fine I'll have less watching you then." He said not really happy with himself.
"Thank you." I said and left. I walked over towards Anuel's room and knocked the room was filled with giggles but stopped once I knocked.
The door opened and I was Anuel looking at me confused, "umm yes?"
"Uh I can come back later, I'm sorry."
"No no it's fine come in. I can actually introduce you to her now."
"Wait now?" I said as a confused question.
"Yeah, Mirana this is Evelyn. Evelyn this is Mirana."
"Hi"
"Hi"
We both said hi at the same time.
"Yeah Evelyn you remember me telling you about her right."
"Of course I do how could I not you talk about her everyday."
"Eww why do you have to talk about me everyday?" I questioned.
"I don't it's just...." He paused.
"He has been talking about you so much because of what happened and the thought about you being with his brother."
"Oh really now." I looked at him. "You said you were fine if I did date him tho."
"Yeah but then I start thinking what if something just happened between you guys and it ends bad you know."
"I told you I didn't want to be with him if he was going to be the way he was before. I mean he's trying but you know my expectations are gonna be high just because of my dad you know."
"Well that's true. Well Mirana, I just wanted you to know that I did finally ask Evelyn to be mine." His eyes were full of excitement and had a huge smile on his face.
"Aww really?" He nodded. "Well it's about time damn. I have been waiting for that moment."
"Hey Mirana. Do you think sometime me and you could hangout?" Evelyn asked.
"Yeah of course. I don't mind it would be good for me to not be around the boys constantly."
She laughed and I just walked away. I think I should have asked her why but I really just wanted to get out of there.
