Chapter Thirty

"Sir give me till Sunday please. I just need till Sunday and then I'll have her."
"No not till Sunday you had today to get her and you failed. You are fired and I'm going to get my guy to do it since you couldn't do it nothing with get in his way and nothing will stop him."
"Sir please.."
"FIRED I SAID. She's my daughter she doesn't deserve to be out hoeing around. Doesn't deserve to be alive anymore."

"Listen Mirana if you ever need anything I'm here."
"Oh are you now." I tried to tease a bit, but I'm way to young for him.
"Of course. I'll be here for you." Sébastien said. He put his hand on my back.
Stable comfort from him. Nice and gentle. Mirana get out of your head!! Get out of your head this is not what you're supposed to be thinking he could be your young uncle he could be like a dad, brother, cousin. Name it all he could be that. We know nothing about him stop thinking this way.

"Hey Mirana did you want to come to the movies with us?" Evelyn asked.
"Umm what movie."
Anuel butt-in .."Something that you won't like."
"It's a romance movie I don't know I just don't want you here alone bored you know."
"Oh umm no I'm good you guys have fun." I said waving it off.
"Okay we'll tell you when we are coming back so we could go home." Evelyn said.

Note to self become best friends with Evelyn very soon.
I went up to the room I slept in last night it was kinda big but smaller than the masters room. It was a room that was just enough for two people in the room to share.
I laid down on the bed and grabbed one of the pillows to cuddle with.
Then there was a small knock on my door.
"Hello?"
"Mirana imma head out for a bit. Do you want me to bring you anything?"
I quickly jumped up off the bed and headed to the door. I opened and I guess my facial expression was to worry about.
"Are you okay girl?"
"You're leaving me here alone?"
"Can you not be on your own, you're sixteen."
"No, I can I'm just not supposed to because I almost got taken away one day from school by some guy."
"Oh fuck. Umm..." he ran his hand through his hair. "Wanna just come with me."
I nodded
"Yeah I would like that."
I grabbed my jacket off the bed and followed behind him.
"So what are we doing?"
"Lunch with my friends. Then I'm going to the mall."
"Oh okay."
"Is that alright with you?"
"Yeah I think that's fine."
"You think? You should say yes that'll be fine." I looked over and saw a little smile. We hopped into his car and went to Applebees.
"Okay so my friends are pretty chill, uh I don't know what more to say but if you get uncomfortable just try to let me know."
"Okay I'll try." I smiled and got out of his car.
I started to put on my jacket as I walked towards the restaurant. Sébastien was waiting for me just so we could walk side by side. He opened the door for me and I entered.
We walked in and this friends were just waiting.
They all got up to great him.
"Are you like babysitting or something?" One guy asked.
"Oh no. My nephew came by yesterday to hang out with me and so I can meet his girl. Their at the movies together and this one didn't want to go with them." He put his arm around me. "And I was gonna leave her at my house but she's not used to being alone so I told her is okay if she came." He said.
"Oh no the more the better you know. Or is she your girlfriend?"
"Hakim she's my nephews age."
"I'm just joking brother. It's all good." Hakim said holding his hands up.

We walked over to a table the hostess lead us to. I sat down next to Sébastien and some guy was on my left side.
"Hello my name is Ashley and I'll be your server today." Our waitress said.
"Can we get four beers and whatever the girl wants to drink."
"Alright and what would you like to drink."
"The strawberry lemonade."
"I'll be right back with your drinks."
"So Hakim how's the wife?"
"Ha. Funny. You know my kid came over last weekend and he wanted nothing to do with me there. He wanted to go back to his moms house cause her boyfriend has bought him some game system that he likes playing there."
"Wow buy it for him man. You'll become his favorite person ever. Maybe his favorite parent."
"No I can't buy that. I have all my bills to pay the new car I had to buy for myself cause she needed a car, but I bought it myself something nicer than hers and she wants to trade. We aren't together anymore I don't know why she wants it."
"Damn man. So Sébastien what you been up to?"
"Working. Gotta help my sister out with her divorce though. Man it's getting pretty bad."
"No way what's going on."
Sébastien sighed, "Bro I don't even know where to begin. I thought I was just going to be there to say my say of what I needed to say for her, but her ex husband wants the house. He doesn't deserve it. He got all the money from her."
"So where does that leave them now."
"Well I don't want her to lose that house. Well it's not even a house bro it's like a fucking castle that place."
"Oh no shit ."

Our waitress came back with our drinks and then we gave her what we wanted to order."
"Alright. If I can just have your menus."
I looked up as I gave her mine and she was looking at Sébastien you could see a slight blush on her face.
"And how about you little girl. how you doing?" The guy on my left asked."
"Um okay I guess.." I said kinda shy.
Sébastien turned a little and put his arm around me but rested it on my chair.
"Oh just okay huh?"
"Yeah just okay."
"So you don't doing anything for fun?"
"Umm...." I looked up Sébastien. "I've never really had a lot of anything to do. I was always stuck in my room. So I forced myself to find a challenging hobby in school."
"Oh yeah sports or something?"
"No I take a bunch of AP classes in school and also try to keep my grades at As but I'm not doing to well with that." I put my head down."
"Oh no? Why is that ?"
Why is he asking so many questions."
"Well she's had a rough time at school these last two weeks. You know how school can be sometimes."
"Wow that really sucks. I hope everything goes well and your grades shall all be hundreds."
"Thanks." I smiled.

My pasta was set in front of me and these guys talked a whole lot. So Hakim is 35 with one son that hates him. The guy to my left was named Seth. He was 27 and worked in the refinery industry.
The other two were Chad and Alec. They were 30 and 34 both worked in an office at a refinery industry.
I turned over to Sébastien.. " I'm going to the the restroom." He nodded.
I got up and walked towards the restroom. I washed my hands and fixed my hair up a bit.
When I walked out the door someone grabbed me and I screamed. He put his hand over my mouth and I was trying to get away. I tried really hard to move his hand. He lifted me up a little so that my feet were no longer touching the ground.
How has no one came to get me yet. Did no one really hear my scream.
"I'm going to uncover your mouth, but if you scream again I will have nothing else but to drug you." My eyes widened.
He's going to drug me? Tears formed In my eyes.
"Nodded so I know you understand."
I nodded my head and he uncovered my mouth and soft sob came from my mouth.
" aww did Daddy not tell you that when someone say to be quiet noises here in the question to."
I nodded my head. He started carrying me away from the restrooms and I tried getting out of his hold.
"Stop moving you stupid bitch. Or it'll get ugly."
I didn't listen. I looked around and he was leading me away from everyone.
"SÉBASTIEN!!!" I screamed.
"Shut up!" The man started to walk faster.
"SÉBASTIEN HELP ME!"
"No on is going to help you!"
I felt a sting in my leg and screamed. I started to feel dizzy and soon I was on the ground. I looked over and saw Sébastien punch the man in the face and everything went blank.
