As they sat at the elongated mahogany dining table, Tina pushed the food from her plate to her husband's plate.
Geoffrey whispered to Catherine, "It's weird, right?"
Catherine looked at her husband, "What is?"
"The sudden changed on the Minoru's relationship." Geoffrey explained, "For nine years, they were cold and now..."
"Its Hana." Catherine smiled.
"Uhuh..." Alex nodded.
"Everyone's mood improved," Dale admitted, "once she got back."
"Yup." Stacey nodded.
"I'd say." Molly sighs, "Where is she anyway?"
"She just texted," Leslie announced, "angrily might I add. She's on her way, from picking people up in the airport."
"I did forget to pick Nico up..." Karolina thought aloud.
Frank smirked, "Well, at least, I won't be the only one she'll be killing tonight..."
"No worries, Karolina," Gert assured, "Chase forgot to pick his mother and sister up, too."
Chase smiled.
"Speaking of," Molly looks up, just as the front door opened.
"Someody forgot to pick us up!" Amy complained as she and her sister walked in."
"At least we have Hana…" Nico shrugs.
"Is it her responsibility to pick us up?" Amy roared.
"What exactly are you getting at Amy?" Tina stood up.
Hana walks in:
"What's going on, here?"
"I'm just saying," Amy took a deep breath, "Hana was a child, when you put all these responsibility on her. She was 12, mom, she took care of me and Nico. No wonder, she doesn't want kids, she already raised two, while still being a kid herself…"
Tina fell silent, Amy grabbed a fork, "What cat got your tongue?" Amy laughed.
Smack! Tina's palm landed on Amy's face. Hana immediately grabbed Amy's hand and pulled her behind. "Take a walk." Hana kept eye contact with Tina.
Tina grabbed her purse and left. Robert followed. Hana looks at Amy who was in tears, "You okay?" When Amy looked up, Hana slapped her, "You don't talk back to her, cause no matter how you spin the world she's your mother. You owe her your life…"
"I owe you my life." Amy corrected.
"And I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her," Hana shook her head, "hence, neither would you…" Hana turns to Catherine, "Really nice party, Mrs. Wilder…"
As Amy walks out, Hana and Nico followed. Nico whispers jokingly to Hana, "Our family is the worst at parties."
"Throwing it? Being invited to it? Doesn't matter, we are the worst at parties." Hana chuckled.
