Amy walks into the house and announces, "Mom, dad! Wong requests an audience."
"Of course," Tina bows, "what can we do for the sorcerer supreme?"
"Mistress Minoru," Wong bowed, "I need to talk to you, your husband, your daughters, and Miss Minoli."
Tina entered the kitchen and came out with Robert as Hana, Nico, and Guita walked into the house. "So, what is this about?" Guita asked.
"We've felt that Mistress Minoru," Wong carefully states, "has developed new powers."
Tina looked at Nico, "New powers? Did you?"
"No." Nico sat back, crossing her arms over her chest.
Tina looked confused, "Amy?"
Amy looked just as shocked, "It wasn't me."
Tina scoffed, "It definitely wasn't me."
Wong smirks and gestures to Hana, "I meant Dr. Minoru-George."
Hana looks up, "What?!"
"You have the rare power of bringing the dead back to life—"
"Necromancy," Hana states, "but isn't that more of a spell?"
"Not any regular necromancy." Wong states as he waves his hand over the coffee table and images appear, "Your powers of flames have evolved to δύναμη του Φοίνικα."
"What?" Robert looked at Tina.
"Power of the Phoenix." Guita translated.
"What's that?" Nico asked.
"Phoenix was told they combust when they die," Hana explains, "and from the ashes comes new life, but I thought it was just a myth."
"As I said, it's very rare," Wong states, "yet powerful. If I am to take a guess, it's because of your Welsh ancestor."
"So, she gets the power," Amy scoffs, "what does that mean?"
"This means Hana's the most powerful out of all of us." Nico explains.
Amy's anger boils inside of her, "She gets everything," she states with a hint of jealousy, "the looks, the brains, the personality, and now the power it's not fair! Hana gets everything."
Tina looks at Amy, "What?"
Amy scoffs, "Oh, come on, mom! You act like Hana is the grace of God… like she's the one that will somehow save the world. For once, I want to hear that Hana failed, but no, she's perfect."
"Sorcery evolves randomly; your magic will evolve soon," Tina cups Amy's cheeks, "be patient." Pulling her daughter into an embrace, Tina sighs, "Be patient, my darling."
Nico looked at Hana, who said, "Kitchen?" and proceeded to go into the kitchen.
Nico follows her oldest sister and Guita to the kitchen before closing the door. "Okay," Nico nods, "what is up with mom? She's being sweet and nice and warm…"
"What do you mean?" Hana asked, "Mom's always been like that."
"Maybe to you," Nico whined, "but to everyone else, she's a Grade-A bitch."
Robert clears his throat, "You do realize the kitchen isn't soundproof, right?"
"We heard you." Tina claims. Looks at Nico, "You called me a 'bitch'."
Nico stutters, "I… I… I didn't. Hana?"
"Oh," Hana confused, "um…."
"And you," Tina looks at her oldest daughter, "defending me."
"We were," Hana bit her lip, a nervous tick she caught from Akari, "rehearsing a play."
Robert laughs, "How did you come up with that?!"
"Takes practice." Hana smirks.
