Being Sealed

"Just do it!" Nico offers her right hand to Hana.

Hana was taken aback, "Mom has the-"

"I don't care!" Nico exclaimed, "I want you, to draw my blood, not her. I trust you, not her."

"Well," Tina hands the dagger to Hana and spitefully states, "then."

Hana looks at the dagger and holds Nico's hand, "Hold still." Hana then moved the dagger across her sister's hand. As the blood dripped from Nico's wound, Hana quickly stepped back.

The staff emerges from Nico's chest; she takes the staff and creates a force field. As the shield went up, Nico screamed in pain.

Hana looks over at Nico, "Hang on, Nico; you got this."

Amy begins to chant the spell, "Sanguis sanguinis mei-"

Hana continues, "Caro carnis meae-"

Nico finishes, "Expergiscimini?"

Tina took a deep breath as she translated:

Blood of my blood
Flesh of my flesh
Awaken!

Merlyn appeared in his weakened state, and Hana quickly casted a silent spell; locking the elderly wizard in the room with no way of escaping. Merlyn slowly looks up at Hana. He chuckles and wheezes, "Hana." His cruel smile sent shivers down Nico and Tina's spines.

Hana bent down to meet his eyes, "Lift the curse that you casted on dad."

Merlyn taunted, "No."

Hana pulls down his beard, "Listen to me; you will take that curse off, or you'll be shaving your beard with your elbows."

Amy walks toward Tina, "Sometimes, your kid scares me."

"Doctor!" a voice called.

"What?!" Hana snaps and turns around to find Strange walking toward her with Wong.

"Hana," Wong sighed, "hurting him won't solve anything; you taught us that."

Hana drops the dagger to the floor, eliciting a chuckle from Merlyn. "Innocent," Merlyn taunted, "little Hana will never be able to do-"

Hana then swung her right hook, hitting Merlyn in the cheek, "Tell me how to lift the curse."

Merlyn smiles, "Consider this your final lesson, my brilliant student."

Hana leans towards Merlyn, but Tina gently pushes her daughter back.

Merlyn laughs at Tina's action, "Trying to protect your daughter?"

Tina looks at her father with disgust, "The way you never did. Now, tell me how to save my husband," Tina pleaded in desperation, "please, father. Do this one good thing for my children; I don't want them to lose their father the way I did."

Nico was shocked by what she saw next; Merlyn's eyes softened as he put a hand on Tina's shoulder.

Hana cleared her throat as her mother and her sisters left. Merlyn smirks, "You knew I was lying. So, why bring me back?"

Hana gestures to Tina, "For her, I wanted her to have a relationship with her father as I did. Also, I wanna know who wrote this." hands him a note, "It was left in Amy's room back in Kamar-Taj."
