No Place Like Home

Hana woke up with a creak in her neck. As her eyes opened, she felt a presence in the room -or wherever she was. "Mom?"

Tina smiles, placing a warm towel on Hana's forehead. "Don't try to move."

"You've over-exhausted," Nico nods, "yourself. You and Amy."

"Amy?" Hana thought, then the memories came rushing back, "Is she-"

"She's fine," Dale sighed, "still asleep. Stacey's taking good care of her."

"Now, shhh!" Tina hushed, "You need your rest."

"We're home." Nico whispered.

Everyone leaves the room and enters another room; Tina sits down next to the hospital bed. Nico smiles, "Kudos."

Tina smiles, but it fades. "I hate lying to her- to any of you." Tina looks at Amy, "But I can't lose her, not now."

Stacey, checking the medicine going into Amy's veins through an IV, looks at Tina, "They'll be fine. You've raised fighters, Tina, not quitters."

Tina looks up, "And my husband?" Tina leaves the room and stops to sit bedside of Robert, who is unconscious and attached to many machines. Tina let out a sob, "Robert, I don't know what to do anymore. Hana just woke up and is asking for Amy, who, like you, is still unconscious. Why did they think that living longer is better than living with you?" Tina threw her arms on Robert's figure, and her face was on Robert's neck, "Don't leave me, please. Not now. Not when we just got home."
