Hana looked down at her lap; the necklace was glowing, "I know what to do!" Hana stood up.

"Care to share?" Guita looked at her best friend.

"No," Hana shook her head, "either I succeed or fail, but this one's on me."

Catherine looks at Hana, "The last time a Minoru said that, he ended up unconscious."

Stacey grabs Hana's arm, "There is no way we are letting you do this alone."

Hana stares at Stacey's chipped nails and removes them, "I'm going to wake Akari."

"What?!" Tina demands, "Have you lost your mind?!"

Hana turns to face her, "I know you hate her, but if we are to play judge, jury, and executioner, we should at least hear what the woman Merlyn left has to say."

"It's only fair," Nico sighed, "but you don't have to be in the room or hell, even in the same country as her, Mom."

"We can question おは"あさん," Amy reassured, "while you go off to Australia. Or something."

Tina looks at Hana, "This is very dangerous. Akari is very dangerous."

Hana thinks, "Come on, Mom! おは"あさん would never hurt me. Even if she wanted to, she can't."

"What do you mean?" Robert asked.

Hana smirks, "I have something..." and with that, Hana walks away.

"What?" Janet asked.

"Just tell them." Molly encouraged.

Nico crosses her arms, "You're keeping things from Amy and me, now?"

"Do you mean-" Amy chuckled.

"You know?!" Nico demanded, feeling betrayed, "Does everyone know but me?"

Hana sits down, "Do you remember when Maiko let Andre and I stay at her house?"

"What did Maiko do?" Tina turned red as the anger settled in her chest.

"She cast a spell of protection on me and my sisters," Hana explained calmly, "so おは"あさん won't be able to harm us. She wanted to do right by your children, Mom."

Hana ended up where Nico burned the staff; she lit the flames and started chanting in ancient Japanese.

"You do know, you can just call me?" Akari stood with her arms crossed, her gray hair in a bun, and she wore a white kimono.

Hana smiles and shakes her head, "I missed your dry humor, おは"あさん."

Akari walks toward her granddaughter, "What's wrong? I know you didn't just miss me to summon me back."

Hana sits down, "I need to bring Merlyn back to his time, but casting the spell would spell doom to him."

"Oh," Akari sat beside her granddaughter, "you summoned one of my former lovers, and now you want me to testify against him?"

"One of?! How many lovers did you have?" Hana asked, shocked.

Akari frowns, "How many have you had?"

Hana replies, "One."

"Wow!" Amy walks toward her sister and grandmother, "Can't believe you slut shamed grandma, Hana. Hi, おは"あさん."

Molly calls from inside the hostel, "Hana, everyone's waiting!"

Amy sighs and walks back into the hostel.

Hana sighs as she gets up, "Ready to face the music?"

Inside, Nico stands beside her wife as Karolina whispers, "Hell of a reunion."

Leslie gives her daughter a warning look and claps her hands, "So, this is Hana's grandmother?" Leslie smiles, "We all love Hana. Tina, not so much."

"It takes a special person," Akari replies, "to love Tina."

Tina frowns, "Mother!"

Akari nonchalantly said, "It's true."

Robert drapes his arm around his wife to reassure her, "I love you."

Akari smirks, "See, special."

Hana looks at her sisters, "Ready?"

Guita claps her hands, "Bring him out!"

Geoffrey, Dale, Chase, and Molly brought out a fragile-looking Merlyn, complete with sunken blue eyes. As the men let go of the old sorcerer, Molly threw him onto a seat in the middle of the room.

Hana sighs, "Go ahead, おは"あさん."

Akari walks slowly toward her former lover, "Merlyn." she knelt in front of him.

Merlyn smirks, "Well, isn't this a flashback scene? You kneeling in front of me."

Hana rolls her eyes; Tina looks at her parents disgusted.

"Can we hurry this up? I've got somewhere to be?" Molly impatiently asked.

"Got a hot date, Mols?" Alex half-jokingly inquired.

"Wait!" Gert put her hand up, "Who?!"

Molly remained silent, prompting Amy to say, "Oh, no way! Them?!"

"The person who was in that place at that time?" Nico chuckled.

"Well, be safe." Hana sighed. "Don't do anything stupid."

"I won't." Molly waved goodbye before walking out the door.

Nico looks at Hana, "You know it's their third date, correct?"

Hana shrugs, and Tina claps her hands, "Can we get back to my parents?!" Tina then buries her face in her husband's chest, "I never thought I'd say that."

Robert pats Tina's head and embraces her, "It will be okay, right, Hana?"

"Depends," Hana looks at Leslie, "can you drive a manual?"

"Why??" Leslie asked.

"Tell you on the way." Hana smiled, grabbed her purse, and walked out of the mansion.
