"Wait!" Nico exclaimed, "Are you telling me you found a way to escape the mirror dimension? The same mirror dimension; you've trapped the guy who had the hots for mom? That mirror dimension?"

Hana merely nods, "Yes. Are you seriously blaming me for this?"

Amy got in between her two sisters and looked at Hana, "She didn't." Amy then turns to Nico and explains, "Kamar-Taj may have the best reputation for teaching the mystic arts, but it has room for improvement. It doesn't teach its students what it does not know."

"Fine!" Nico backed down, "So you gonna kill him?"

Hana shook her head and disgustingly asked, "Why is that your first solution?"

"How else are we going to ensure that he stays away from mom?" Nico asked. "We can't just ask him to leave her alone; he'll laugh at us."

"If we talked to him..." Hana's eyes twinkled with an idea.

"I like the way you think." Amy smirks. "But who?"

Hana sighs and looks at the potions on the table, "Someone who I believe wants this family to succeed." Hana picks up the potion and hands it to Amy, "Someone like Merlyn."

"You're insane!" Amy accused, "Merlyn doesn't care for our family."

"He's mother's father," Hana claims, "so it doesn't matter if he likes it or not, he's rooting for our lineage. It's simple biology."

"You're basing this," Nico sighs, "on biology?!"

"No," Hana reminds, "I'm basing this on what mother said to you, the night at the Hostel. 'When a parent says they would give their life to protect their children they mean it.'"

"Yeah," Nico debunks, "but Merlyn never said that."

Amy admits, "But he did spare Hana; he has a redeeming quality."

Hana pulls Amy aside and shows her the note.

Amy gasps, "You've got to be kidding me?! Mordo sent that note; how?!"

Hana puts the note back in her jeans back pocket, "No idea. Still trying to figure that out."
