After a century of living in her own blood and flesh battleground, Medeia believed that her thirst and sexual desire had gone and that only anger and vengeance remained. However, now, it was Haidee's face that occupied her mind.
The face of the blind princess, unveiled in the morning sunlight, was ethereal from Medeia's deep emerald green eyes.
She gasped a little breathe as she was stunned by Haidee's sudden confession. Unaware, her fingers almost touched Haidee's reddened cheeks. Just when she was about to touch her, she stopped and clenched her fist.
Her heart was about to soften, but a cynical voice rang inside her head.
'What are you doing, Medeia? Did you forget about us?'
When Medeia closed her eyes, she saw her family, and the whole den tribes laughed at her with their bloody appearance.
The eyes that were about to soften turned to their original states. Despite her flowing rage right now, her rationality made her stopped her intention to kill her enemy right now.
Medeia rose up quickly, and with a cold voice, she spoke to her, "Be quick, or you will forget your intention to visit the village,"
Medeia was about to leave, but a gentle yet shaky voice spoke,
"Don't go,"
She turned to face Haidee, and somehow she wanted to stay with her. But her rationality prevented her from doing so. Instead of replying to her request, Medeia walked away as she closed the door harshly.
Haidee was startled by the loud voice coming from the door. She lowered her head, feeling sad. She indeed wants to be on her own, but the moment when Medeia was about to leave her... Somehow, she didn't like it.
Selfishly, she asked Medeia to stay. But the young witch didn't.
Medeia's coldness is nothing new to Haidee. She is aware of her hatred towards her family. But, she is just a normal human.
It is in human nature to wanting something that is not for them.

Haidee finished bathing on her own, and she wore back her dress. At first, she thought that she would have a hard time moving around inside the house. But, that's not the case. Somehow, she feels like the wooden floors are soft, and the surrounding is empty.
There are no bulky walls. Instead, the interior house seems to be perfectly designed for a blind girl.
'Did she rebuilt her house? For me?' Haidee smiled, shyly. She stopped smiling when a cold voice talks to her.
"Now that you had finished your morning session let's not wasting time again. Before that, I will give you this wooden stick," Medeia put a thin wooden stick at Haidee's hand.
"What is this?" Haidee asked as she tries to swing the wooden stick. It seems light, and not dangerous for her.
"I'm not sure if this wooden stick works the way I wanted to, but you can try it now. First, you need to pick up the wooden stick. Second, you just need to give a command to your wooden stick. For example, I want to go to the betrayer Kingdom, and—"
Haidee clenched the wooden stick that Medeia gave to her. And, a smile danced on her lips as her heart fluttered again by Medeia's random kindness.
Unaware of her flirtatious voice, Haidee spoke, "You act as if you hate me, but then, at the same time... you,"
Medeia started to feel annoyed. "Huh? Stop your idiocy, and don't waste my time,"
An idea popped inside her head. It caused Haidee to smirk. Softly, she spoke her first command at her newly wooden stick,
