Haidee was on her way to visit Medeia, but she failed as Medeia was out of nowhere. She was informed that Medeia was rarely seen, almost every midnight.
"Where and why is she always missing?" Haidee let out a frustrated sigh. She noticed that Medeia was frequently absent from her place. She also observed that Medeia was often interested in strange topics such as the history of the Romulus Kingdom, the secret room, and the existence of a trophy as if she wanted to know whether or not there was a trophy within the Palace.
While the others fall for Medeia's gentle and kind smile, but Haidee could have sworn that she once saw the real expression Medeia had after she parted with those people who seek to be treated by her.
It was a face that radiated pure hatred and disgust.
Haidee assumed that it was her own eyes that had misinterpreted Medeia's expression. Medeia is not a bad person! Medeia must be exhausted from working so hard to heal all of the patients who could not be healed by the other physicians.
On the other hand, the fact that Ines had arrived made Haidee feel very uncomfortable, and it was the same feeling she had when she noticed the lustful eyes of those who had been staring at Medeia.
Was it called jealousy?
'But no, that is impossible! She is a woman!'
Perhaps because she is too perfect, and it causes everyone to fall for her looks?
'But will all these uneasy feelings left my heart if the men fall for her as her real self?'
Somehow the thought of it angered Haidee even more!
'So, why do I hate it when everyone staring at her with such eyes? Why do I dislike seeing her smile at anyone? Or when she is kind to them? Or when she openly flirts with them?'
Haidee shook her head, understanding that it's not in her place to limiting anyone to become Medeia's potential lover...
With a deep sigh, she tidied the cloak hiding her face from being seen by the guards. Slowly, she walked back to her place, but an unknown sadness had caused her feet to wander off to another location.
Then, she saw someone lying down on the grass. As soon as she realised who was lying down on the grass, Haidee's heart started racing.
Bathump, bathump, bathump.
Even when she is lying down on the grass, her beauty does not fade away. Haidee hid behind the tree, secretly admiring the cold beauty. After some time, Medeia finally said something that made her heart ache.
'Is she in love with someone? And it's a... Woman? Is she in love with a woman?'
Tears stream down her cheeks as she is completely unaware of the pain she is experiencing right after she secretly listens to Medeia's love confession. Now that she was aware of the tears falling from her eyes, she quickly wiped them away with her backhand.
She wanted to leave right away, but she tripped over a stone. It caused her to gasp in frustration.
"Oh, fudge!!" Haidee cursed in pain as she looked down at her swollen ankle. Nothing's going according to her will!
Medeia raised her head just enough to catch a glimpse of the voice that had disturbed her peaceful night. Her eyes widened in shock as to see the owner of the voice.
"Princess Haidee? What are you doing here?" Medeia asked, unknowing that her whole face lit up.
"And what exactly are you doing in this place? What's the point of you lying down on the grass?" Medeia received a snarl from Haidee. She is aware that she was harsh to Medeia, but she simply felt that way.
