Medeia couldn't sit still after seeing Karis again. She was trying to track her down again, but she couldn't find her. Besides, Haidee's temperament was difficult for her to manage. Medeia must be by her side the majority of the time.
Medeia was never a patient person, and she almost lost her composure with Haidee's childishness. Medeia would not have had to put up with Haidee's temperament if it weren't for Haidee being pregnant, and especially if Gaian hadn't always spoiled his daughter.
Medeia's solution to her frustration at not being able to locate Karis was to engage in a duel with Liam.
Medeia and Liam were having their usual duel. Medeia triumphed, as she always did, but it was not an easy victory. Despite the fact that he still couldn't beat Medeia, Liam's skills had improved significantly.
When they were finished with the duel, they both lay down on the grass to rest. While laying down next to each other, both of their eyes were looking up at the sky.
The wind breeze, with the scents of fresh grass and flowers, and a sky that is bluer than it has ever been.
It calmed the two of them, while their mind was occupied with different thoughts.
For Medeia, she was not thinking much about laying down next to Liam. All she could think about was Karis and how she was going to persuade her to accept Haidee.
However, that's not the same cases with Liam. Liam was having a panic attack, with Dion laying with him. Although it was nothing special for two men who had just finished a duel to lie down on the grass together, it was not good for Liam's heart.
Liam's gaze was now drawn to the cold, handsome duke who had piqued his interest.
"Dion. Do you love the Princess?"
Liam's unexpected question surprised Medeia. After all, Liam never bothers to ask about it. Medeia wondered aloud, but her gaze remained fixed on the sky. "Why do you ask about that?"
"Well... You are going to marry her, tomorrow."
The words of Liam brought Medeia to the realization that she is going to marry Haidee, yet again, the following day. She blushed, and her heart beats rapidly at the thought of it. Her smile gradually faded when she remember that she hasn't prepared it yet.
A strong hand grabbed her wrist just as she was about to walk away.
Medeia raised an eyebrow at Liam, who looked flustered. She pulled back her hand from Liam, "What are you doing?"
"Do you by any chance, will fall in love with a man?" Liam asked, with a tremble tone, and wary eyes.
'He must be disgusted with if he knows that I had fallen for him,' Liam murmured mentally, as he secretly clenched his fist.
As he watched the cold duke fail to respond to his question, Liam chuckled to hide his embarrassment at having asked it. "Of course, if you're a woman. You will, without a doubt, fall in love with a man if you are a woman. But now that you're a man, you'll be attracted to women only,"
For a moment, Medeia was surprised by Liam's words. 'Did he fall in love with a man?' Oh, I see! No wonder he never faltered when those women tried so hard to be with him. It turns out that he is only interested in men!'
