Meanwhile, Yon noticed the dark air surrounding them. He couldn't use his power, no matter how hard he tried. But even without casting a spell, he is a strong man.

He exhaled a deep breath, as he walked towards Einar who remain lifeless. He caressed Einar's cheek, gently, enough to tell him that he is loved.

Yon kissed Einar's palm, lightly. "Einar, please stay here. Don't leave. I will protect all of us,"

"Yon, where's Medeia? Where's our daughter?" Einar asked, in a suffocated, low voice.

Yon hesitated, not willing to tell Einar that Medeia is nowhere to be seen. "She's safe,"

Yon was about to leave, but Medeia rushed to him. Medeia was in a complete mess, "Father, Unce Romulus bring a thousand of Askran, and now Reyan is fighting alone—"

Yon clenched his fists, enraged. He will make sure to kill Romulus and his army.

He turned to his daughter. Gently, yet firmly, "My daughter, I want you to leave with him—"

"No, I will fight with you!"

Yon shook his head. "You are the future Chief. You are their lady. Naturally, you will have to fight and protect your people. But, I am a bit selfish now. For now, I want you to be safe. You will hate me for this, but I just want you to know that you are the greatest blessing in my life. You, and Einar. I love both of you, wholeheartedly,"

"Father—" Medeia was about to argue with her father, but a blow at her neck, causing her to faint immediately.

Yon was shocked. Shocked that Einar is the one who did it to Medeia. Einar, now standing straightly, with an anxious expression.

With an anxious expression, Einar asked, "What happened?"

Yon looked away, sighing, "Romulus brought a thousand of Askran army, here,"

Einar clenched his fists, angry at himself, "Yon, this is all my fault. I should not be falling for Romulus, nor did I saved his life. I should let that bastard die. If it weren't for me, we would not be— "

Yon stopped him from talking with a deep kiss. Einar was stunned, but he reciprocates it. It's been a while since he last tasted such loving lips. After Romulus stained him, he couldn't bear to touch Yon. He felt dirtied.

Their lips parted. Yon caressed him, "Aside from your look, body, personality, I fell in love with you because you are the kindest man ever,"  Yon added, "Stop blaming yourself for everything. Listen to me. I want you to leave with Medeia. Go use the secret passage and run without looking back. I will ask someone to evacuate those who could not fight and join you and Medeia. For now, I, as the Chief of the Den Tribe, will fight with all of my might,"

Einar wanted to stop Yon from doing so, but he knew that Yon will not leave his people. He will fight for them, protect them.

Desperate, Einar hugged him tightly. Sniffing at his scent, caressing each of him.

"To me, you are my other half. Without you, I am nothing. So please, please come back, alive. Because the moment you stop breathing is the day where I will too,"

Yon chuckled, "I am flattered,"

Einar release the hug, and he stared at Yon. Firmly, "Promise me, Yon De Hay Den,"

Yon sealed the promise, with a kiss. Then, he leaned towards Medeia who had fainted just now. He kissed her forehead and cheeks.

"My daughter, Medeia De Hay Den. I love you and am always proud of you," Yon said, as he let Medeia wore his pendant.
