Medeia was about to leave the room but found out that her legs stop moving when she heard a shaky sob coming out from the bed.
Medeia turned to look at Haidee, who was trying hard to stop herself from sobbing, but she couldn't since Medeia had listened to her silent grief.
Medeia, who was still in irregular breathing, should have walked away. Instead, her legs moved towards the blind princess.
"Why are you crying?" Medeia asked as she was now sitting next to Haidee. Her heart was still rioting with the anxiety of the past, her stomach still feeling uneasy, but her legs couldn't leave Haidee all alone. Not when the blind princess, trying hard to stop the sobbing.
Haidee ignored, not willing to respond to Medeia's cold tone. She was embarrassed with her improper action towards Medeia. She never initiated anything towards anyone, including the princes, dukes, or whose father set her up when she was still a Princess. She never even let her heart get swayed by numerous flirting, romance, and even their charming looks.
Now, she gave another woman her first kiss. That woman, on the other hand, hated her and her family the most. She knew that she was selfish for kissing Medeia, but the heart wants what it wants. The lust grew so vividly in her blood now that she wants Medeia for all of herself.
To say it was lust is not true. She falls for her, despite seeing her face. Medeia could be an ugly wicked witch, but she will still fall for her. She still will kiss her.
Nevertheless, she was hurt when she felt that Medeia somehow appeared disgusted when she furiously left the bed after the kiss. Is it because she's a blind lady? Did Medeia prefer the hostess from the Lune's brothel over her?
The thought of it made the hyacinth blue eyes swell with tears.
"Stop crying. You look ugly," the voice sounded gentler.
Haidee was stunned by Medeia's voice that sounded gentler than usual. She shook her head, trying to stop from admitting herself again at Medeia. She must let Medeia know that she was mad at her for trying to leave after their short kiss.
"You should stop being a meanie, then," Haidee pouted.
Medeia lifted the corner of her mouth, unknowingly smile after seeing Haidee's pouting her mouth. It's rare to see Haidee acting to be mad at her. Again, Medeia teased her.
"Said someone who stole my first kiss,"
Her mouth fell open, and her whole face lit up. "Y—your, what?"
"My first kiss, you stole it,"
Haidee was happy to learn the fact because she gave her first kiss to Medeia too. But what if Medeia is just bluffing? She was aware that Medeia was sought after by the beautiful dark elves and monsters. She was sure that Medeia was pursued by almost all of the beauties in the Aran Land when she went to the past.
She must have her first kiss with someone else or even slept with them. The thought of it ached her heart. She was jealous when the soft lips, probably tasted by someone else before her.
"I can't believe that. You lived for hundred years, and I heard that you are a magnificent creature. You must have your way with—"
"That is true. I must have slept with countless women if I wanted to. But, I'm not like the Askran Bastards,"
Although Medeia sarcastically mocked her, Haidee was content to know that Medeia isn't like the men in her Kingdom. Unknowingly, she smiled, charmingly.
