Eon and Selena always spend time in the forest, under the big oak tree - surrounding them are flowers with different colors and exquisite kinds. The cool breeze gives a comforting feeling, together with the brightness illuminating the place. They both love to read books. Every day they would spend hours reading while sitting under the tree.

Eon constantly looking at Selena then at his book. Every time he looks at her, he would be mesmerized by Selena's expression - it is peaceful and full of purity. Eon has a sense of having to embrace her and protect her. Eon's heart skips excitedly each time he contemplates how amazing the girl next to him is.

In a month they had known each other, Eon grows more fond of Selena. He always feels of wanting to see her, talk to her, and be next to her under the oak tree. Later that night, he cannot sleep thinking about Selena.

"What I am feeling?" Eon rolls the side of his bed. "I want to see her every day. Her smile, her face, her voice - all about her, I cannot stop thinking about her." He knows what he feels means but is still feeling confused.

"Do I like her? Or do I already love her?" This thought made Eon sit up and shake his head. "No. No, it can't be. We even barely know each other just a month ago."

Eon lays back on the bed. He sighs. "I am not in love. Maybe I am just longing for someone to be with me. I mean, I do not have my parent's attention and I do not have any friends. So, maybe this is why I am feeling this towards her." He could only sigh again. It is the first time he feels this way. He just looks at the ceiling until he falls asleep.

Selena, at the same time, also has a hard time falling asleep because of Eon. She keeps thinking about him.

"Being with him feels familiar." As Selena is thinking that, her heart skips frantically. She gets up suddenly in her bed and puts her hand in her left chest where her heart is. She could feel her heart beating differently from the normal range. Selena then smiles. "So this is being in love."

Selena lays back on her and imagines what she remembers with a genuine smile on her lips. She saw in her peripheral vision that every time they would read books, Eon would look at her intently. Selena wants to ask Eon but she is shy. She does not want Eon to think that she is an assumptive person. But she cannot help but wonders. "Does he feels the way I am feeling right now?"

Selena is feeling confused. She does not want to conclude anything but what else she could think what it means. She could sigh until her eyelids are slowly closing because of tiredness.

The next morning, Selena plans to meet Eon in the forest early. She wants to spend a little longer time with him to confirm. While at the dining table, Selena is busy daydreaming that she did not notice that her parents are watching her closely.

"What are you smiling about?" Selena's father exclaims that makes Selena jumps out of surprise. She did not answer and continues to eat. Tony is just looking at her daughter. Ria, at the same time, is worried about what her daughter is up to.

After breakfast, Selena sneakily goes outside the house and into the forest, Little she knows that her parents saw what she had done and where did she go.

Upon arriving at the big oak tree, the sight shocks Selena. Encircling the oak tree are all dead and dried flowers. "What happened here? All was doing great last night." She clearly remembers that what surrounds the tree is a paradise, but now, "Has it been always like this?" Selena thought.

Selena looks around. "No, something's wrong. I clearly remember it all. Everything is beautiful and magical and different colors." She sits down at the big root of the oak tree. Selena immerses herself into thinking but the more she thinks, the more her eyes are getting sleepy.
