"Dad come on, I don't need to be guarded" Sydney fought. Meet Sydney Matthews, the 22 year old daughter of Wyatt Matthews. She is the most guarded girl in town, and thanks to her dad, she has been for 4 years. She has to be guarded at all times, she had gone through bodyguard after bodyguard but none of them did the job they were assigned. And that job is to protect Sydney. She was tired of it, she knew she could take care of herself but her dad never listened. Sydney would tell him time and time again that she is older, and that she can keep herself safe, but Wyatt never cared. He always thought that if he let his daughter out into the world people would target her. Terrible, dangerous and ferocious people, with no care of hwo her dad was. And sure she could sneak out but somehow he bodyguard's would find her. Sydney used to live with her mom when her parents got divorced but her dad got in the way and now she's here. Locked in a house with no way to have fun, no way to see people, no way to have contact with anyone.

"Do you have any idea what could have happened to you tonight!" Wyatt yelled. Now Wyatt isn't your typical dad, he's a gambler, a trader, a dealer. He had been in debt for a few years and he hid away from it, digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole that he can't get out of. He thought that if Sydney had contact with people she would be in danger, but he thought he was doing the right thing protecting her. Helping her stay safe, out of trouble out of the line of danger. But all he was doing was pushing her farther and farther away from her. Wyatt had a terrible childhood, not because of his parents, not because of school but because of who he was. He was the type of kid to break the rules, he would under age drink, he bullied other kids and got away with it. His parents would pay the principal off just so he would keep his mouth shut and not talk about it and when they got home. They acted like Wyatt did nothing wrong, he even started fights and his parents acted like it was another Wednesday after noon at their house.

"But nothing happened, dad. I am 22 now, I can take care of myself" Sydney defended "I don't care how old you are, you know you can't leave this house" Wyatt argued "And why is that?" Sydney questioned "Is it, because I'm your little girl and you don't want me getting hurt?" Sydney mocked. Sydney had snuck out to a bar and her bodyguard found her and dragged her back to the house and her dad has been giving her a lecture ever since. "Stop saying that!" Sydney yelled "Stop saying I'm too young to go out. I have been locked in here for 4 years now, I should be able to do something" Sydney finished storming out of the room. Her dad stood there watching her walk out and her bodyguard blocked her "Get out of my way Will" Sydney demanded "Not until you finish that conversation" Will fought. Sydney slapped Will and walked away to the stairs and up to her room. "SYDNEY COME BACK" Wyatt yelled "PISS OFF" Sydney yelled slamming her door shut.

She was tired of it, tired of the drama, tired of the separation from the. She can't even see her won mom, and what is her dad's excuse? That it is too dangerous with people she is not connected with, that's bull, Pure crap
