"Your house is boring."

Renjun scoffed, glaring across the room at Donghyuck. "Aren't you the one with money? Treat us to some ice cream if it's so boring here."

"Maybe I will," Donghyuck huffed, standing up and crossing his arms.

"We're going for an ice cream run or doing something else?" Mark asked, getting rid of the wrinkles in his jeans as he stood up.

Jeno chimed in as he got up from the floor, "just a friendly reminder that Jaemin and Minyeon are still lactose intolerant."

"Yeah, yeah, I remember. We'll do something else, let's just get out of this house," Donghyuck shooed them, closing the door behind himself.

"Excuse me, I've still got to lock my door," Renjun pushed him. "Some of us don't want to be robbed, Donghyuck," he advised, twisting the doorknob to make sure. "Alright, we can get going now."

There was a total of three cars the group could be found in. While visiting Donghyuck's home, Mark and Chenle would be staying with him which meant they also shared a car. Jeno drove to Renjun's house in his own car with Jisung and to save space, Renjun went with them. Minyeon drove herself and Jaemin using their shared car.

Since no one actually knew where Donghyuck was taking them, they had to stay behind him. It proved to be a bit of a challenge when they got on the highway and cars were speeding past them and in front of them.

Everyone was a bit confused when they pulled into the parking space by the large grassy area of the park. They were a bit surprised to see not many people were around.

"What exactly are we doing here?" Jisung asked, walking over to Donghyuck and peeking over his shoulder into the trunk of the car.

Donghyuck flinched slightly, not realizing who was beside him. "I keep forgetting you've grown like two feet since the last time I saw you."

"I've grown like over twenty centimeters since the last time you were here, actually," Jisung nodded, finally taking his height into consideration.

He got distracted as a bug flew past him, making him flinch and cling to Donghyuck as if he'd be able to protect him from the bug.

"Yet you still act like the same fourteen-year-old," Donghyuck laughed, closing his trunk as Jisung pouted, stepping to the side.

"What's that?" Chenle asked, staring at the large box in his friend's hands.

Donghyuck smiled proudly, setting it down. "It's a drone. I've been needing a reason to get it out and today is the perfect excuse."

While the other six boys had fun over the small robotic piece of equipment Donghyuck brought, Renjun and Minyeon just watched from a few steps back.

While the other flew it around the long paths, enjoying seeing the things around them, the two decided to just talk and take in the close scenery.

"How are you doing?"

Minyeon looked over at Renjun, smiling softly. "So you're gonna be my new therapist now?"

Renjun looked up at the drone, his white teeth sparkling in the sunlight as he smiled. "Well seeing as you won't go to an actual one and how you're always there acting as our therapist, I'd say it's fair to return the favor."

"I see, I see," Minyeon nodded, running a hand through the top of her hair to pull it out of her face for a moment.

"So, like I said, how are you doing? The truth though, not sugarcoated or downplayed so that I won't worry."

"And why would I even think about downplaying my problems to the one and only Huang Renjun?" She joked.

Renjun playfully glared at her, patiently waiting for an answer. By now the group was already a few feet ahead of them and weren't going to be looking back any time soon.

Minyeon finally sighed knowing that she wouldn't be able to get herself out of the conversation unless she were to go talk to the others but that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

"I've been better," she answered truthfully. Just talking about her problems and stuff made her nervous. She could already tell her phone was starting to slip out of her hand.

"You might want to put it in your pocket before you drop it on the concrete," Renjun said, not even having to look down to notice her grip loosening on the device.

"I don't have big enough pockets."

Renjun sighed, trying his best to put on the persona that he was annoyed. It didn't work well. "Alright, give it here. I'll hold it for you. You and your brother need to start bringing bags or something to carry your stuff around in."

"I don't see any of you wearing bags," Minyeon pointed out.

Renjun shrugged, "we don't need them at the moment. My bag is in the car right now in case we go anywhere else later. But I also have pockets that fit my wallet and phone so I don't need anyone else to hold them for me."

Minyeon glared playfully, hitting his shoulder with hers. "I get it, I need to buy jeans with bigger pockets next time. Oh wait, I literally can't find any."

Renjun hummed, squinting at her. "I can tell you've tried to change the subject. So like I said before, how are you doing? I know his return has put a strain on you. I can see it."

"It's definitely harder than I thought it'd be," she confessed. "It's like being in his presence is just a lot more different from before. I used to be really comfortable but now it's like- awkward? I don't know if that's how I would describe it."

"It's tense."

"Yeah, tense. Like no matter what and at any moment we're in the same space, I can't say or do anything without feeling like my body is just going to give out or something."

Renjun nodded. "Do you think you still have feelings for him like when we were younger?"

She shrugged, sighing, "truthfully, I don't really know anymore."
