"Not to be a Twilight hater but-" "Here we go again."
"No, I'm serious. How the hell did Bella Swan have two supernatural creatures fighting over her? Seriously?"
"Yeah, no, I agree. She only wanted Edward because she knew she would turn into a vampire and Edward only wanted her because he was obsessed with her scent. She knew she didn't want to go with Jacob because she can't turn into a werewolf. But as soon as Edward was out of the photo, she was all over Jacob."
Minyeon laughed at Renjun and Jisung's conversation. She loved finding the two discussing random topics, especially their opinions on movies.
"Why are you two obsessed with trying to make her out to be the bad guy when it was clearly Jacob that was the worst?"
"No," Jeno stopped her, pushing his wet hair out of his face. "Jacob admittedly was awful. But there's no comparison needed, all three of them were awful."
Jaemin joined in from beside Jeno, "seriously! But Jacob really was just awful. Like when he made Edward think Bella was dead and then when he found out Bella was gonna turn into a vampire and was like come on Bella, you aren't really that stupid. Like... who does he think he is?"
"Oh my god," Minyeon gasped, pointing down at Jaemin, "and when Bella died and he turned to Edward like I won't kill you so that you'll have to live with this for the rest of your life."
She threw her arms up in frustration. "Like, it wasn't about you! Shut up! Damn."
"Exactly!" Jisung exclaimed, splashing the pool water. "He was so needy and made everything about himself. Like could he not see the clear distress Edward was in while trying to bring her back?"
The group continued talking for a few minutes, enjoying their time at the pool until they heard thunder and saw the sky flash purple.
"Isn't it dangerous for us to be in a pool while it's raining and lightning?" Jeno asked, suddenly pulling himself out of the pool from the side.
Jaemin followed close behind him and Jisung after him, the three boys taking towels from Minyeon and Renjun who were the only two opting out of getting in.
"We can head inside and get dressed," Minyeon offered, standing up and pulling her shirt on. "The movie doesn't start for a while though so we should decide what we want to do until then."
"What about going to the mall?" Renjun offered, sliding his feet into his sandals. "We can walk around and stuff and then just go into the cinema when it's time."
"Is everyone good with that?" Minyeon asked, looking around. "Wait a second, does this mean I have to drive?"
The boys looked at her with hopeful smiles and thumbs up, only making her sigh. "You guys treat me like I'm your mother," she said, her tone lighthearted.
"It's because we love you," Jaemin exclaimed, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and hugging her tightly.
"Ah- get off of me," she shook, trying to get out of his tight grip. The boys ignored them, and headed upstairs, already used to their childlike behavior.
It took a minute but Jaemin finally released Minyeon from his grip and joined the others to get ready. Minyeon followed behind him, going into one of Jeno's other spare rooms.
"Hey, Minyeon," she heard outside the door.
"One second," she replied, pulling her jeans on. She took one last look in the mirror before turning around and walking towards the door, opening it quickly. "What's up?"
Jeno stopped leaning on the wall and walked over towards her, "do you have a comb or brush? I got a knot in my hair while we were in the pool."
She nodded, turning around and walking towards her backpack. "Yeah, of course. Here you go."
"Can you brush it out for me? It's like on the top of my head and I don't want to risk ripping my hair out again."
Minyeon laughed, remembering the previous accident Jeno had when he tried to brush a knot out of his hair. "It's not funny," he rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes playfully.
Minyeon nodded teasingly, getting onto her knees on top of the bed mattress and beginning to comb out Jeno's hair as he sat still.
"Sure it wasn't. But anyway, why didn't you just ask Jaemin to brush it out of your hair for you? He's really good at styling hair and stuff."
Jeno shrugged, "he was still busy getting ready to leave."
Minyeon almost nodded but the sound of someone knocking on the door caught her attention. "We're all ready now. We'll be waiting downstairs," Jaemin informed them.
He didn't wait for either of their responses, turning around to join the two others in the living room.
Minyeon squinted down at Jeno yet couldn't see his face as he was turned slightly. "Right, so he was busy getting ready, huh?"
Jeno scoffed, not looking in her direction. "Leave me alone already."
"Whatever," she laughed, rubbing her hands through his hair gently. "Alright, you're good. Let's go before they started complaining."
Jeno didn't hold them back any longer and followed her to the living room where the other three waited on the couch.
"Alright gentlemen, let's get going." Everyone stood up quickly, ready to get going.
The ride to the mall was quick, the group singing along to the music in the car happily. When they arrived, everyone got out.
They walked around the mall for half an hour before finally heading over to the cinema on the left side of the building.
"Everyone has their drinks, check. Jeno and Jaemin have the popcorn, check." Minyeon confirmed, looking at each of the boy's hands. "Alright, let's g-"
The five stopped in their tracks just before colliding with the three people in front of them. Minyeon opened her mouth to apologize but stopped when she took notice of who they had almost run into.
"Oh, hi guys," Donghyuck smiled.

y'all i know at times minyeon may seem a bit annoying around jaemin but that's literally bc they are siblings and i'm just trying to make them kinda realistic 😭
cause i read books where the siblings are always so nice and polite to each other and then i look at me and my siblings and realize we are always bickering lmao. like yeah they get annoying pretty quickly and i still love them but i do not express it like the siblings in most books 👩🏽🦯
also, if you've been one of my readers/followers for a bit then you know most of my books are usually 55+ chapters but i think this one will only be around 35-40!
