It was windy outside as clouds decorated the dark night sky while crickets and critters chirped in every direction.

Donghyuck was in a slumped mood, unsure of what he was really wanting to do. He knew Renjun definitely seemed closer to Minyeon than the other boys when he first arrived but he had only assumed that it was just them connecting on a friendship level.

Now that he knew Renjun liked her, he didn't know if he really had a chance with Minyeon as he had hoped.

But should he give up already?

He didn't even know if Minyeon had the same feelings towards Renjun. For all he could tell, Minyeon just looked at Renjun like a friend.

But then again, he wasn't exactly an expert on reading her feelings anymore. And the sad thing was... he never really did know what she was feeling.

Maybe that's something he should've tried understanding a bit more in the past but it was apparently too late for him to really contemplate each emotion she was feeling.

Would it really be too much to just walk up to her and bluntly ask hey do you like me back? Because I still like you and I don't want to wait along anymore.

That would be too much, wouldn't it?

Even if it wasn't, he wouldn't really have the confidence to actually say that to her. He may be a bit more confident than he was in his youth, but he wasn't sure he'd worked up that much courage yet.

He sighed heavily, finally turning his car off. Once again, he found himself walking in the familiar diner he had met at with Jaemin just a few days ago.

It was pretty late already and it was one of the only remaining diners open for people to come inside.

The food was pretty good and the service was nice so it wouldn't hurt to spend another night inside the cold establishment as he filled himself up with his favorite food.

The parking lot looked similar to the last time he was there. It wasn't full yet wasn't empty. Quite a few people were there for it to already be nearing midnight but he wasn't one to judge.

It was like his body crashed into a glass window as he walked inside. His body immediately shook, not used to the cold temperatures inside.

He wasn't sure how there wasn't ice forming on the walls and windows yet considering the extremely cold feeling.

He huffed through his nose, hoping that he'd be able to see his breath leaving. The plan didn't work too well as it still wasn't cold enough for that.

His arms wrapped around his body, trying to keep some heat around him before he started shaking.

He tried putting on a smile as an older lady finally approached him, her smile wide. She stood in front of the small podium, her undivided attention now on the brown-haired boy.
