Harry's POV ~

Making our way into the school undetected was successful. Now as if he knew, Snape was calling an assembly in the Great Hall. So I joined, disguised.

"Many of you know are surely wondering, why I have summoned you at this hour."

I cat a safe glance at the man as he spoke to the sea of students, "It's come to my attention that earlier this evening Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade."

A burst of whispers shot out before he silenced them again, "Now. Should anyone, student, or staff attempt to aid Mr. Potter? They will be punished in a manner consistent with the severity of their transcription, furthermore, any person found to have knowledge of these events... who fails to come forward will be treated as equally guilty. Now then, if anyone here has any knowledge of Harry Potter's movements this evening. I invite them to step forward. Now."

There was a moment of silence before I sighed and walked out into the open as everyone turned to me, surprised and shock as I glared at the headmaster, "It seems, that despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you still have a bit of a security problem, headmaster."

I turned to look behind me as the doors opened, revealing members of the Order before I slightly chuckled, "It's actually quite extensive."

I looked back up at Snape and shook my head, "How dare you stand where he stood?"

I knew Scarlett committed the crime, but he was her family, and he covered it up, "Tell them how it happened that night? Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you! And you let her kill him! You may have taken the blame but you betrayed him all the same! Tell them!"

He stood in silence as I only glared at him before he pulled out his wand. Instantly, Professor McGonagall stepped before me and pushed me back before she shot fire at him. They went back and forth before Snape turned and left as everyone celebrated.

Harry...

I looked around and heard his voice before hearing an ear-splitting scream erupt from a student.

I walked through the cord of students before I found a younger girl, covering her ears as she screamed.

I know that many of you will want to fight.

We all froze and looked around as Voldemort's voice rang through the room.

Some of you may even think that the fight is wise. But this is folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter and you will be rewarded. Give me Harry Potter and Hogwarts will be left untouched. You have one hour.

The students all turned to look at me as I stood in the center of the room.

"What are you waiting for? Somebody grab him!" I looked over to see Astoria Greengrass pointing at me as Pansy, Blaise, and Esmeree stood behind her shaking their heads.

Ginny stepped in front of me, and so did the rest of the Order and other students before we heard another voice come running into the hall.

"Students out of bed! Students out of bed! Students in the corridor!"

McGonagall scoff and turned to see Filch running in as she snapped at him, "They are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot!"

"Oh. Sorry, ma'am."

She then looked over at Astoria before turning back to the man, "As it happens, Mr. Filch, your arrival is most opportune."

"If you would, I would like you please, to lead Miss Greengrass and the rest of Slytherin house, from the hall."

"Exactly where is it I'll be leading 'em to, ma'am?"

"The dungeons would do."

He nodded and the Slytherins followed him out as I, along with the Order tried to leave the hall before McGonagall walked up to me, "I presume you have a reason for returning, Potter. What is it you need?"

"Time, Professor. As much as you can get me."

She nodded and gave me a look, "Do what you have to do. I'll secure the castle. Oh and Potter," I turned to look at her again as she gave me a soft smile, "It's good to see you."

"It's good to see you too, Professor."
