To others it wouldn't be there, it would just be a gate with a wall surrounding what was just land. I was glad I could see it, and I was glad that Pansy and Esmeree were safe at Hogwarts.
So I did what I would have never done, "Poppy," I whispered, and soon the elf appeared.
"Lady Scarlett must be freezing. Let Poppy get-"
"No, Poppy. I need you to alter the spell on the Manor. Let it be that any no-mag that I, and I alone apparate in be safe. Otherwise, all other precautions reside."
"Poppy will begin spell alter now. Be safe, Lady Scarlett."
I gave her a nod and soon she disappeared. I turned back to see Granger motioning for me to follow as they left the graveyard.
Catching up with them, we soon found ourselves before a destroyed and abandoned home.
"This is where they died. This is where he murdered them."
I sighed but snapped my head upon hearing a crunch of snow come from behind me. Upon seeing the old lady I jumped slightly, but I felt something towards her.

I felt comfortable and I felt that I could trust her.
So I did.
Harry walked up to her and tilted his head, "You're Bathilda, aren't you?"
"Wait, Bathilda Bagshot?"
Harry looked at me and nodded, "But she was my uncle's great-aunt. Which like kind of makes her my..."
I thought for a moment as Harry followed her while Granger waited for me, only to have to pull me along with her.
"That makes her your 'grandaunt,' Scarlett."
"Really?"
"Mhm."
"Okay, well then Bathilda Bagshot is my grandaunt. But something seems off, I thought she passed away."
Granger turned to me with a questioning look, "What?"
"Well, it's just that I thought she passed away a few months ago. I mean, but for some reason I still trust this lady walking in front of us, even if it wasn't actually her. It's just something about her."
We followed the woman into a house where she soon tried to light a candle only to have Harry do it for her. Harry looked around the house and moved the fire closer to one photo, a photo of my uncle when he was younger.

"Miss Bagshot, who is this man?"
The lady said nothing but take the candle upstairs as Harry followed her, cautiously.
I stayed downstairs with Granger as she looked around. I picked up the picture from before and smiled, "It's my uncle. When he was younger. Actually, I'm going to keep this."
Granger laughed quietly as she looked at the picture, "So, that was your uncle?"
"Yeah, these photos are mostly of him. He spent a summer here in Godric's Hollow and that's when he met Dumbledore. They became good friends but then my uncle went on his whole greater good stuff and that ended with the great battle."
"The one between Grindelwald and Dumbledore?"
"That's the one. You know, I was actually there. I was with my uncle and two others but that's when Dumbledore found us and he threatened to take me, that's why my uncle attacked first. Then after there was a casualty, my uncle took me and fled leaving my other friend to run for her life."
"That must've been horrible."
"I was young and it was just after my parents had passed. It's fine though, I mean-"
I stopped as Granger froze at the door she opened. I walked up behind her and looked over her shoulder, then I realized who that woman really was.
"Nagini."
"What?"
"I was right, Bathilda died, that isn't her. It's Nagini. We have to get Harry out now."
Granger looked up at the bloody floorboards, "Harry!"
There was a crash overhead and both Granger and I raced upstairs and when we reached the top of the stairs we saw Harry standing off against a snake. Nagini.
Granger jumped in front of Harry just in time and knocked the snake away. Only she knocked the snake towards me, "No. No, no, Nagini it's me."
She didn't stop, she continued to come at me and so I quickly reversed the spell of transfiguration and she stopped upon seeing me.
She then turned and attacked Granger and Harry instead. I ran towards them as Granger had cast one last spell, "Confringo!"
I grabbed their arms and apparated them out the window, leaving Nagini behind.
