Chapter 6

Kenzie's POV

"H-he got in a horrible car crash and died"she cried

My father,dead?

I cried pretty loud

"Is she in here?" Elizabeth asked

Nash mumbled a yes

Elizabeth flipped on the lights.

"Sweety what are you doing in here?" She asked

"I had a bad dream"

"Well Sweety I'm so sorry we're all here for you" she said hugging me she then kissed my forehead and left crying.

Nash tried to snuggle with me again,but I pushed him away and got up

"Where are you going" he asked

"You promised" I whispered before walking out.

It's 12:00 am right now.

I just want to be alone.

I grabbed a sweatshirt and sweat pants and my uggs and put them on,i grabbed my phone and money,and quietly walked out the door.

I had no idea where I was going all I knew was I was crying uncontrollably.

"Kenzie?" I heard somebody say

It was kyle and Dakota.
They were playing outside with flashlights,while I was just using the streetlights to guide my way.

I forgot Dakota lived like 30 seconds away from me.

I instantly ran into kyles arms

"Awe princess what's wrong?" He asked

"M-my dad died" I cried into his shoulder.

"Do you want me to get justine?" Dakota asked since justine lived two houses away from him.

Justine decided to move in with her 23 year old sister,so she could be closer to us,and kyle lives about 5 minutes away with his mom because she got full custody two days ago.

"Please"i sniffled.

Kyle just rocked me back and forth

"Awe babe what's wrong" justine asked running towards me.

"D-dad died" I said crying even harder.

"No!" She said tearing up

Dakota came to hug us both he is so sweet.

"Hey babe" Kyle said

"Yes?"

He turned me so I was facing him

"I love you" he mumbled against my lips
Then we had a long passionate kiss.
"I love you too" I cried

"Hey guys just sleepover at my house"
Dakota said,his parents weren't home so they preferred him to have friends over.

We all nodded our heads and walked into his house.

We all slept in the living room.

Dakota and justine shared a couch

Kyle and I both shared a love seat.

Kyle and I snuggled up and fell asleep as did Dakota and justine #jakota

The next morning I woke up at 11 to 80 missed messages from all the boys,except shawn that's weird whatever tho.

Nashly-mackenzie where are you?

I'm right behind our house like if I jump Dakotas fence I'm at my house.

I sighed

"I've got to go home" I said hugging them.

I ran outside and took the long way home,i saw the house and started crying.

I walked through the door everybody was in the living room well that's a lie not everybody we are missing a person.

They all ran up to me

"We missed you"

"Where did you go"

I stayed silent.

"We are never going to leave you" they said hugging me

"That's a lie!" I screamed

Flash back-

We were visiting my moms grave,at this time I was about 5. I made sure to wear my necklace,even though I wear it everyday.

My father and I found my moms tomb we sat there talking to her.

I started crying uncontrollably.

"Pumpkin I promise I will never leave you" my father said hugging me

"I love you daddy,please don't ever leave me"

"I won't I promise"

End of flash back -

I ran up to my room and started packing,because I realized that
I was going to be put up for adoption.

"What are you doing?" Skylynn asked walking in

"Packing" I whispered

"Why ?" She asked

"I'm obviously going to be put up for adoption"

"What?" She said about to cry

She ran out of my room

About 5minutes later Elizabeth walks in.

"Sweety,listen it was either you go to a foster home and get adopted by a complete stranger,or I adopt you and I've chosen-" I cut her off

"Yeah you've chosen to give me to a complete stranger"

"No I'm adopting you! Since I was your dads fiancé!" She said

"Thanks liz" I mumbled hugging her.

"The funeral is in 3days" she whispered rubbing my back.

The worst day in my life will be in. 3 days
