Chapter 17

Mackenzies pov

Everyone was starting to come into the magcon room it was now 8 pm and no this wasn't a surprise party.

There were drinks even tho a lot of us were under aged.

This made me really uncomfortable.

"Um Hayes?" I asked as I walked over to him,he was talking to a guy I didn't know.

"Oh Mackenzie! This is kaleb he is on my football team" Hayes introduced.

"Hi" I smiled kindly shaking his hand.

"Hey,there" he smiled back taking my hand and kissing it.

That was awkward.

"Hayes, you're not going to drink are you?" I asked him.

"Nah those are for the older people here" he said.

"Oh okay"I said walking away

"Nice ass" Kaleb yelled over the music

"I have a boyfriend" I yelled back

"So he doesn't have to know" he yelled catching up to me

He grabbed my waist and pulled me into a kiss, he reeked of alcohol,I didn't kiss back infact I was struggle to get out of his grasp.

"Cmon I don't bite" he whispered

Someone needs to come help me.

"Dude what are you doing?" Someone said pulling him off of me

I looked up to see Cameron.

"Just making out with her" kaleb winked

"No get the hell away from me!" I said crying

I looked back to see Shawn shaking his head in disgust.

I ran out of the building.

I was sitting on the curb when I got a text again from the unknown

Unknown-I'd go back into the building if I were you

Then he sent me a picture of me sitting on the curb

I quickly got up and went back to the lobby where there were people

Kenzie-who are you?

Unknown-you know me

Kenzie - idk anyone who would do this

Unknown-really?

Unknown-just wait until you get back to North Carolina because that's when I will strike.

I got really creeped out.

I went back into the magcon room.

I went to look for Shawn to explain when I saw him talking to this sluttiest Girl my heart just broke in a million pieces when I saw him kiss her.

I just ran and ran up to my room

I saw that mahogany and Lorna were already up there

"Mahogany" I said on the verge of tears.

She engulfed me into a hug

"Babe what's wrong" she asked

"I saw Shawn kiss another girl please book a flight back to North Carolina that I can get on now" I said with tears falling out now

"Of course I'll book one for you,lorna,justine,dakota,ty,and kyle" she said getting on her Mac to do it.

I nodded my head

"What about your dance competition" Lorna asked

"We have so many entries it doesn't matter and plus we aren't entering a group dance" I shrugged

It was 8:45

I texted everybody that was leaving in a group and they all left the party to come up here and start packing.

I got my gifts for Hayes and put them in a bag and set them in his room.

I quickly texted Elizabeth who I now call mom to let her know our flight will be landing at 2 am,let me tell you she was not happy,but she agreed.

"Are any of going to need to spend the night" I asked while we got in the limo

We were going to arrive in style.

"No" they all said.

"Bye mahogany"i said hugging her

"Don't worry I'll be back on Saturday,and make sure you practice for the voice!" She said hugging me back

I smiled

At the airport
(I love the smell of the airport)

We were just waiting for our plane to be called so I went to Starbucks and got a very berry hibiscus.

"Stop taking pics of Kenzie its creepy" I heard Kyle say to Ty since they were the only ones there everyone else was who knows where

I got another text from unknown

It was a picture of me waiting for my drink.

Wait could Ty be doing this?

I shrugged it off and payed for my drink and sat down on the left of Kyle so I didn't have to be near Ty.

I was scrolling through Twitter when I saw a tweet from Shawn

@shawnmendes - I miss you
@shawnmendes -where are you

I decided to text him
:

Kenzie-listen I'm okay.
Shawn-where are you
Kenzie- I'm at the airport
Shawn-is everyone else with you
Kenzie-yeah
Shawn- alright well I love you and everyone that witnessed what happened told me the same exact thing I'm sorry for not believing you
Kenzie-its okay I love you too,just yoU kissed a girl first.

He didn't respond

I then got a text from Hayes

:

Hayes-thank you for the bday gifts!i miss you already!
Kenzie-your welcome,miss you too.

"Flight 208 to North Carolina is now boarding,flight 208 to North Carolina is now boarding" the lady spoke over the intercom

By now everyone was with us so we went to line up to show the lady our tickets and after we walked down the hallway you have to walk down to get on the actual plan.

Since Ty and Dakota were the tallest they put our luggage in the departments

There was 3 in each row so is girls say together and the boys say together.

It was now 2am and we're landing.

Ty and Kota got everyone their luggage

And then we walked out and went our Separate ways.

I waked outside because my mom told me that she was there.

"Hey!" I said as she got out of the car to help me put my stuff in the trunk.

"Hey sweetie" she said

When we were finished I was remembered That the boys weren't here.

"Shotgun" I yelled

I sat down in the passengers seat

And saw that sky was sleeping.

We drove home and then I took a shower and got changed.

I texted the guys to let them know we landed safely and are home.

I got under the covers and closed my eyes then I let the darkness take over my body.
