Ginny and the other Fireflies had managed to slice the small tower off the wall. It had crashed down and buried several Death Eaters underneath, not killing them, but knocking them out.

The battle raged on and it was brutal. The students using elemental magic had an advantage because the Death Eaters weren't prepared for that, but it was exhausting.
The Death Eaters on the other side of the chasms had managed to conjure some sort of bridge to cross it, and the flood of Death Eaters streaming up was getting too much to handle. The Order members were doing the best they could, but soon they were outnumbered.

"Stupefy!", shouted Neville, sending a Death Eater flying into the castle wall. He and a many other Fireflies had decided to descend the towers and join the fight below.
"Protego!"

His shield came too late and Neville felt a sharp pain as something slashed across his face. Blood trickled into his eyes and he stumbled.

A hand grabbed him and pulled him behind a large boulder that had fallen from the upper towers.
"You alright?", asked Luna worriedly. "Episkey."

Neville grimaced when something hot prickled across his face. But at least his wound was closed.
He wiped the blood out of his face.
"Thanks."

A spell missed his hand by inches, crashing into the boulder with a crack.
Neville and Luna jumped up with their wands ready and whirled around.

Pansy Parkinson glared at them.
"How sweet", she sneered, "Loony and the Gryffndor crybaby, together at last."
She flicked her wand, but Neville blocked her spell.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Neville threw himself against Luna and the green light sizzled past his ear, barely missing him.

Pansy cackled loudly and raised her wand. She looked like a diabolical maniac.

Luna scrambled back onto her feet and whipped her wand forward. A gust of wind threw Pansy backwards and against another boulder.

"Are you controlling wind now?", the Slytherin said hysterically, trying to get back up. Blood ran down the back of her head from the wound she had received.

"You should have looked at my robes", said Luna simply, gesturing to their silver color.
"Petrificus Totalus!"

Pansy stiffened with wide eyes, frozen.

Neville took Luna's hand and pulled her with him.
"Come on", he urged her, "Harry needs us."

They ran past more broken bits of the castle, ducked whenever a curse whizzed past them, and soon saw Harry ahead of them. Kingsley was by his side, as was Ginny, Mrs. Weasley and Hermione. They were fighting as hard as they could, but were circled from all sides by Death Eaters.
And it seemed that more just kept coming.

Fenrir Greyback suddenly appeared in front of them, showing his sharp yellow teeth.
"I know you, puppet", he said with a wolfish smile, looking at Luna. "I believe we never got closer introduced."

Neville pulled Luna behind him.
"Stay away from her", he warned the werewolf icily.

"Or what?", growled Greyback, straightened up to his full height.

A fire blast hit Greyback straight in his chest and the werewolf started howling in pain, trying to extinguish the flames. Neville and Luna ran past him, blocking hexes and returning them to other Death Eaters.

But everyone was getting exhausted.
They had lost their advantage when Mioha had taken down the elemental barriers and now they were outnumbered.
After every second that passed, they felt their energy drain. The students participating in the fight were at the end of their tether and the Order of the phoenix was as well. They had hoped the advantage of using elemental magic would help, but in the end their numbers just did not seem to be enough.
