Chapter 15: Dead

-Jacobs POV-

I heard her scream. It pierced my ears. I jumped up running down the stairs to the basement. I saw Renesmee lying there in a puddle of blood and milk.

Emmett ran down with Rosalie, Alice and Carlisle.

"No." I said. I ran down and picking her up in my arms.

"Deven is gone." Emmett said angrily. I ran up the stairs.

"Carlisle!" He was standing right next to me and the tears streamed down my from my eyes.

"Esme call Edward." Carlisle said, leading me and limp Renesmee to his office.

"You should leave." Carlisle said

"No." I said standing my ground

"You don't want to see this, get Alice and Esme for me now." He grabbed supplies and I walked out, Alice and Esme already waiting to go in.

I punched a whole in the wall, and kicked open the door. Transforming into wolf form and running into the woods.

-Bella POV-

We awakened suddenly to the sound of Edward's phone ringing. I jumped.

"Hello?" I looked at him and his face lost all color and fell.

"We need to go. It's Deven and Renesmee." He stated, hanging up the phone and grabbing my hand.

We ran as fast as possible and arrived at the house, I smelt Jake, and heard him howl in the distance.

"Where is she?" I asked Rosalie

She held me back. "Carlisle is taking care of her, it looks like she went down into the basement and Deven attacked her. She seems to have a broken leg and a severe concussion." Rosalie stated, her shoulders shaking with sobs.

I sunk into her arms, and we fell down to the floor, I sobbed and then I felt Edward wrap a blanket around me and then I felt a wave of calmness and saw Jasper standing at a distance from the blood downstairs. I mouthed thank you and fell back into Rosalies arms.

2 hours later Alice and Esme walked out of the room. Alice came and rubbed my back, sitting down with us.

"Is she okay? Can I see her?"

"She is stable, but in severe condition. Deven practically crushed her skull, and broke her left leg in multiple places."

"I should of killed her." I said snarling through my teeth, Alice wrapped her arm around my shoulders pulling me close. Not disagreeing.

We moved to the couch, Esme came and went into the room, but we still weren't aloud to see her. It killed me inside. My stomach still in knots, my head throbbing from the tear-less throbs.

Suddenly Alice tensed and gasped. I looked at her with fear. It was a vision.

"What's happening?" I asked

"It's Deven and some man named Dave... And..."

Dave. I should of snapped his neck when I had the chance.

"And what Alice?" Edward asked eagerly.

"And... She is creating an army to come after us... All their eyes are red. And they all have special powers..." Edward groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Deven had been having animal blood almost 7 years now. She had helped Edward and now her eyes were red. We underestimated her, and her power. Now, I was almost sure we were going to die.
