A Twilight Story

Chapter 7: Finally Home

-Alice POV-

I sat on Jasper's lap and suddenly got a vision. I gasped and looked around. 

"It's Edward..."

Everyone sat in sadness after I told them.

"How could he?" Emmett growled.

"Edward would never!" Esme said in a fearful voice.

Just then, Bella walked through the door. Bella. Someone we had not seen in weeks. 

"I wanted to apologize to everyone for how I have been acting. I think I am healing and it makes me happy to know I have such a great family looking out for me. Thank you, for keeping an eye on me and leaving me blood and notes and outfits... I am sorry Renesmee, for not being the motherly figure I should be... and.. well.. I just wanted to say I am very sorry everybody."

Esme ran to Bella and hugged her, followed by Renesmee, Emmett, Rosalie, and then Me. Jasper and Carlisle smiled slightly in the corner. We got so caught up in our hugging, we forgot about the new issue. We all pulled back at the same time remembering what had happened and we sat down. 

Bella looked confused, "What's going on?"

We all shook our heads, "Nothing."

"I don't like secrets!" She growled through her teeth. 

I sighed and looked around, they motioned me forward to tell her with a slight nod. 

"Bella... I got a vision... Of Edward." She jumped up as I continued, "A-And.... He was kissing another girl.... Her name is Deven..." I looked into Bella's eyes that had been filled with happiness a few seconds ago, now fill with sorrow. She looked at the floor and then walked out of the house. Slamming the door. I sat on the couch and looked at Esme who sat in silence, Rosalie who sat by Renesmee and Emmett and Carlisle looking at the floor and Jasper sensing all of our moods and not having the mood to change them. I couldn't blame him. They needed, we all needed to face the sadness for once. 

-Edward POV-

Her lips crushed against mine and I sat there for a few seconds and then pulled back. 

"Deven...."

"Shhh." She responded as she started to lean back toward my lips

"Deven no! I'm married.. and... and I don't feel that way about you..."

She smiled fake and looked at the ground, picking up her bag.

"We should get going to Forks.."

We? Since when were we both going? I looked at her, "We?"

She nodded, "Please, take me with you... I need a new start and Forks is the right place, I'm sure of it."

I looked down, and walked to the car as she followed. I got in and threw my stuff in the back as she did too. "Thank you." She said, I just nodded slightly and drove back to Forks...

-A FEW HOURS LATER-

The tires slid onto the gravel as I parked in front of the cottage. I looked at Deven, "I need to talk to Bella. Wait here."

I grabbed the roses and necklace we had picked up and went to knock on the door of the cottage. I was finally home.
