A Twilight Story

Chapter 1: An Amazing Surprise

I sat in Edward's embrace as I pulled up the different colored flowers in the meadow and brought them to my face to smell them. He moved his hands up and down my back and waist. I smiled at him as the sun hit us and we dazzled together. I looked up and then suddenly felt his lips on mine.

"You are so beautiful." he said with the crooked smile I loved.

"That's a matter of opinion love." I said, doubting his remark. He shook his head.

"I hear thoughts and so many people think you are beautiful." He leaned in to kiss me but I put my hand on his lips. He looked confused and kissed my hand.

"You just can't control yourself can you?" He shook his head once more. "Never when I am around you."

I finally gave in and kissed him passionately and he pulled 2 tickets to Paris out of his pocket and held them up. I grabbed them and looked at them and then at him in amazement. 

"Oh my gosh Edward! This is incredible! Thank you so much!" I leaned in to kiss him and he happily kissed back. 

"When do we leave?" I smiled.

"Later tonight, how come?" 

"Well that means we need time to waste." I said with a laugh 

Within seconds he picked me up and we were at the cottage.

-Edwards POV- 

I finished packing my bag as I looked at Bella packing hers and I went up and wrapped my arms around her small waist, and leaned my head on her shoulder. She turned around to look at me and I smiled. 

"I need to shower."

"Great idea, lets go." I said with a smile

She rolled her eyes, "Alone."

I laughed slightly, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead. "Okay love, I am going to go hunt."

She nodded and walked quickly to the bathroom.

I sighed and got some shoes on and walked outside into the deep forest to hunt, something I had not done in a very long time. I put my hands in my pockets as I walked around kicking up branches as I thought how I would be with Bella, alone without any distractions for a week. We could go to so many places, and spend time together. This thought made me happy as then my head was flooded with thoughts. My head perked up as Mike Newton's voice went through my head. Then I smelled the human blood. It was Jessica's. Mike was worried about the cut, he thought about how the cut was really deep, and that she needed a hospital. I reached the lake and looked into the deep reflection of the calm water to see my eyes had turned black. Oh no. I held my breath and started to walk farther away but they kept following. I growled low as Mike and Jessica finally saw me.

Mike looked fiercely at me and said, "Can you help us? Jessica cut her leg and I know your house is around here, she just needs a bandage, and I could use help holding her to get there, we just walked 3 miles and-"

I cut him off and scratched my head. She was bleeding bad, and if Bella was here she would of told me to help.

"Sure.." I said with uncertainty and I held Jessica's arm and leg to help her walk as the thoughts of Jessica being so happy I was touching her went in my head, I rolled my eyes as the cut started to bleed more. I took a deep breath and let go causing her to fall and make the cut deeper

"Oh my god! I didn't know I was that heavy!" she complained

 My breathing quickened and I took a deep breath. I need to get out of here. But I lost all control and pounced after Jessica.
