A Twilight Story

Chapter 8: The Kiss

I am going to start writing a few points up here. I hope you enjoy this chapter :) There is a lot of point of views in this one, and it is long, but I hope you enjoy and be sure to like/comment/ add to your reading list.

-Bella POV-

We all sat on the couch, Alice, Emmett, Jasper, Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie and Renesmee. We turned on the TV and were watching some movie, but I don't think anybody was paying attention. I was still mad. I couldn't believe Edward would do that. I sighed and looked down playing with my wedding ring when suddenly, I heard tire tracks with an unfamiliar car, and a knock on the door. I didn't recognize the smell from the clothing so I walked to the door, Emmett at my side and opened it,

"Hello?" I adjusted my eyes to the darkness and there Edward stood with a bundle of roses in his right hand and a necklace in his left. My palms went to my mouth and I gasped as I ran and jumped up around his waist and buried my face in his chest as I tightly wrapped my arms around his neck and he held me just as tight, holding me up and burring his face into my hair. I started crying tear-less sobs as he embraced me. I heard everyone laughing and could feel that they were smiling. I pulled my head away and looked into Edward's gold eyes and I crushed my lips against his. He kissed me back and we heard Emmett howl in laughter and a "woo-hoo" came out of him and Jasper! Rosalie laughed as she said, "Emmett... " but she couldn't say it without laughing at our joy. I finally jumped down and looked at Edward.

" I missed you so much.." He put the necklace around my neck and my fingertips went to it. It was a beautiful heart shaped diamond with the words, Forever, engraved on it. I took the roses and smelt them as Alice took them to put them in water. Edward looked and me and stroked my face.

"I missed you more then you can imagine." He put his lips to my forehead as he walked in and I shut the door. Renesmee ran and jumped in his arms like me and he picked her up and smiled. 

"I missed you, Ness."

She was crying and smiled, "I missed you too, Daddy."

He smiled at the name and set her down, wiping away her tears. Edward went around hugging everyone and talking as I just stared at my husband, who was finally home. Then I remembered the kiss and anger filled my body. I think Jasper realized it because he said, "I think we should leave them alone." And within seconds, they all walked out. Even Renesmee, who could tell what I was going to talk about. I looked Edward in the eyes. 

"Now we talk."

-Renesmee POV- 

I was so happy my dad was home, but I still had Jacob to deal with. I skipped outside and that's when Grandpa stopped, "There is someone else here."

My eyes went to the car and I saw Alice look at the floor. That's when a long haired blonde in a grey low cut top and black jacket with jeans and boots came out of the car. She was tall, skinny, and absolutely stunning. Not as Stunning as Aunt Rosalie, or Aunt Alice or Grandma or Mommy, but stunning. 

I saw Aunt Alice tense up, and Uncle Jasper flash to her side. Everyone seemed to understand except me. 

"Hello, I'm Deven." she said in a smooth voice

That's when it all clicked. She was the one that kissed my dad.

-Alice POV-

My head fell when the girl from my vision appeared. How could he bring her home? Carlisle put out his hand and within seconds everyone was laughing and happy.  She explained she was here to start over and she is the one who helped Edward. That made me happy but the deep pit in my stomach still remained. There was something not right about her. After an hour of talking, Carlisle offered if she would like to stay at our house. She replied, "Thank you, I will keep that in mind, I however have a friend who lives around here, she is human and old, and I can stay with her for a while." She said with a grin.

"Okay, well please contact us if you need something." Carlisle responded

I can't believe Carlisle had done that! It's as if everybody put their feelings behind about the incident. I seemed to be the only one who cared still. I sighed and went ahead and walked back, Jasper caught up and asked, "Whats wrong Alice?"

"I just have a bad feeling about her. Everybody put their feelings behind about the situation when it still isn't right. At all." I kept walking and he walked by my side, understanding how I was feeling.

-Carlisle POV-

Deven said she was going to stay to say hello to Bella and goodbye to Edward. Esme and I went into the forest to take a quick walk home while Alice and Jasper went home and Emmett, Rose and Ness went hunting.

"Carlisle?" Esme asked after we started walking

"Yes?" 

"She is such a sweet girl, are we sure Alice's vision is correct? Something tells me she wouldn't be the one to jeopardize a person's marriage, it just doesn't seem right."

I sighed, "I know, and I don't really know what to say."

Esme looked down, "Well I think everyone should move on and be friends."

That was Esme, always wanting to make sure everyone was happy and friendly. I didn't respond as we kept walking hand in hand.

-Emmett POV-

Rosalie, Renesmee and I walked deep into the forest to hunt. I caught a few bears, Rosalie some mountain lions and Renesmee a deer. With her thirst not being as severe as ours, she usually didn't get much. We walked in silence until Renesmee said, "SO that was her?"

Rosalie sighed, "Yeah, she seems nice." Rosalie said with a jealous expression and I rolled my eyes.

"You're just jealous" I said bumping her arm with mine

She growled, "No I am not Emmett!"

Renesmee looked at us, and just kept walking in silence. I looked at her, "You okay kiddo? What did you think of her?"

"I thought she was really pretty and sweet and nice, so that makes it so hard to believe she kissed my dad."

Rosalie nodded and I sighed, "Yeah, I think all of us have that going through our heads."

We walked back to the house and silently sat on the couch.

-Bella POV-

I paced around as Edward sat on the couch and looked at me. We had been talking for about an hour and finally I brought it up and growled through my teeth, "You kissed her."

He looked down, which meant it was hoping I wouldn't ask. Then he responded, "Yes, but technically no, she kissed me an-" I cut him off, "It doesn't matter you still let it happen!"

He looked down, "I know, and look Bella, I'm sorry."

I knew he was sorry, but this isn't fair. "Why.. Why did you do it?"

"I don't know."

Wow an I don't know. How do you not know why? I thought,  sitting in the loveseat, "Did it mean anything to you?" 

That's when he didn't respond, I knew it did and I started to get up and walk away but he grabbed my arm, "Bella... Babe, Please.. If you want me to be honest, yes it did partially mean something to me. She was there for me when nobody else was and when I saved her, I thought about you. And it made me want to kiss. But the kiss never means as much as it does when I kiss you."

I looked at him, "Edward that's not fair though."

"Now you know how I felt when you kissed Jacob." He said as if we were in Junior High fighting like girls.

I pulled my arm away and grabbed a coat and my purse. 

"Where are you going? Bella I just got back!" 

That's when I opened the door and there stood a beautiful blonde and I dropped my stuff. 

"So your the one who kissed my husband."

Then that's when I tackled her to the ground.
