What fourth wall?

"Are you stuck?" Kevin asked with a hint of smugness to his tone as he played Words With Friends with Leonie while on FaceTime with Melanie.

"I hate you sometimes." Leo mumbled, but the younger Scott heard her clearly. It didn't insult him, if anything it increased his self-satisfied attitude.

"Do you need help?" Mel and Kevin asked at the same time, much to the annoyance of the Arsenal defender, who only glared in the direction of her girlfriend.

"I think that means no." Kev smiled.

He didn't tell his sister that he spent so much time bonding with the German duo, he was sure his sister wouldn't mind, but he was covering his bases - if Logan got back with Kelley, it could become awkward.

"Not that I don't love talking to you--"

"Only you?" Kevin interrupted the brunette.

"Yes! Only Mel, because you only seem to embarrass me." Leo grumbled as she focused back on her screen, a small frown forming on her face, her tongue sticking out a little at the side as she concentrates on attempting to finally beat Kevin at any game. "I can't believe this was my idea."

"Anyway." Mel smiled softly at the blonde before facing her own screen once again. "Why are you calling us?"

"Yeah, no friends your own age?" Leo grumbled unhappily, but the attitude from the angry German only caused laughter to erupt from the American-born Canadian.

"Well, you were my second option. I called Logan earlier but she was busy with Kelley." Kevin thoughtlessly added. He could tell that both women were trying not to react - he liked that about them, they wanted Logan to live her own life - but it was a losing battle with the already irritated Leo. Before she can interject, he continues, so as to ease their concerns, "I mean, they didn't have plans. The way Logan told it, it was that Kelley just...showed up unannounced on her doorstep. Apparently she wanted to clear the air."

"Is that all they're doing?" Leo asks.

Mel rolls her eyes, apologizing to Kevin for her girlfriend's clear jealousy. It was an emotion that Mel rarely witnessed with the blonde, but when she did it was always when Logan was mentioned in a sentence with another woman.

"Logan told me all they're doing is talking." Kevin informed the two, and smiled when it was Mel's turn to roll her eyes. Her acts of jealousy were often wordless, the opposite to the bluntness of Leo.

"Don't worry about it, the readers want you with Logan anyway."

"Readers?" "What?" The German duo asked, heads tilted in confusion.

"Anyway." Kevin sighed. "Logan told me she has work early in the morning so she wanted it to be as quick as possible."

"I should call her." Leo insisted, quitting her game with Kevin and closing the app, before pulling up Logan's contact and attempting to call the blonde.
