It had been three weeks since Logan's clear-the-air talk with Kelley and in that time, both women had agreed to keep in touch. It wasn't difficult, neither would admit it at the present moment, but they each missed the other. Pining might be a better word for it.
The most surprising thing to arise during the frequent texts and calls was Kelley's almost obsessive need to know more about Logan's polyamorous relationship. It was almost something of a fantasy/myth to the American pro, and because it was all new to her, she needed to know more.
It may have been to quench her need for reassurance that when she was with Logan she wasn't with anyone else, or that she definitely didn't have feelings for anyone else. Childish, yes, but the twisting of her stomach wouldn't let her ignore the possibilities until she finally asked Logan about it.
Anyone else and it would have annoyed her. The incessant badgering for answers from anyone other than Kelley would have had Logan's temper flaring. But alas, when it came to O'Hara, Logan was a complete softie.
And so she would reassure Kelley anytime she had to that no, she wasn't with anyone else while with Kelley and that she never caught feelings for anyone else either. She wasn't the unfaithful type, and wouldn't do Kelley dirty like that.
She carefully, and as simply as possible, explained the ins and outs of being in a polyamorous relationship. There were rules, so to speak. It wasn't an open relationship, it was very much exclusive, but with more than one person.
Kelley questioned Logan about it so much that the Canadian had begun to wonder if it was something Kelley wanted, but pushed that aside when she realized that the questiones were directed to a time when O'Hara was her girlfriend - she was just worried that Logan cheated.

"You know, we miss you Little Hollow," Melanie quipped over facetime as she sits on a couch next to Leonie."I miss you both, too." Logan sighs. She really did miss them, but all agreed that long distance relationships would be difficult. Which is why Mel joined Chelsea, to be closer to Leo.
"You could have moved to England, Bärchen." Leo smirked, knowing Logan was a sucker for the pet name. The German duo chuckle as Logan drops her head to hide the blush that runs up her neck to settle on her face.
Finally Logan looks up, "I know, but I missed my brother."
Deciding to change the subject, Melanie cleared her throat, "How are things with Kelley?"
There was a small awkward silence between the three. It was no secret to her ex-partner's that Logan still carried a torch for her American ex. It would also be a lie if they said that they were completely fine with it, but they wanted Logan to be happy. She was, after all, incredibly important to them.
"It's okay," Logan sighs as she watches Mel and Leo carefully, "Nothing but texts and phone calls. I've been focused on settling in Florida. Still have people to prove wrong."
"Does she know about us?"
"She does," Logan answers Leo. "She was...surprised, to say the least."
"In what way?" Melanie ponders, the slight frown from confusion on her face makes Logan smile softly. It always was adorable.
"The usual," Logan chuckles. "How it all works with three people. She was hinting though, like she thought I was cheating on her back when we were dating, as if it's the same thing."
"She really thinks that of you?"
"I dunno, it was like she wanted to ask but she didn't wanna come out and say it." Logan sighs and her ex-girlfriends smile sadly at her, both wishing they could be there for the younger girl, both knowing that the other still wanted the Canadian pro to be with them.
"We're sorry, Brächen. Is there anything we can do?" Melanie asks softly. It was the same tone of voice that annihilate Logan's walls.
"You're both helping now, just by talking to me," Logan replied, receiving smiles in return.

It was another national team camp, and Kelley would always be lying if she said she hated them. It was, of course, a well welcomed time to connect with the women she considered family. They were also just a handful of women that Kelley felt comfortable enough to ask for advice.
Not that she couldn't ask the national team players that she worked with at club level, but there was something comforting with asking the friends that would eventually leave, going back to different States. Sure, it was avoidance behavior, but who cares?
Alex took a seat on the turf next to Kelley while Rose sat on the other side of the crazy American, "So what's wrong?"
Kelley didn't reply, at least not in English, as she made a small noise of confusion.
"You've been staring at your cleats for ten minutes, you're uncharacteristically quiet and if I'm being honest, it's freaking me out," Alex mutters.
"I'm just thinking," Kelley grumbles, dusting an imaginery piece of dirt from her clean cleats.
"About?"
"You won't judge?"
Alex raises a perfectly shaped brow in question, "Of course not. When have I ever judged you?"
"Okay, Have you ever thought about dating more than one person?" Kelley finally asks and takes a deep breath before meeting her best friend's gaze.
"Like cheating? Are you trying to tell me something?"
Kelley just laughs it off, "Of course not. I'm talking about poly relationships."
"I wish," Rose butts in, suddenly reminding Kelley that it wasn't just Alex beside her, "That would be so hot."
The younger girl is oblivious to the questioning glances from the two older players.
"Okay, we'll come back to that," Alex points at Rose before turning back to Kelley, "Why are you suddenly asking this?"
"No reason, just curious."
Neither Alex or Rose buy the excuse but decide against questioning it. Kelley would talk more about it if she wished, and Rose doubted very much that it would be in front of her.
