Two months had gone by since we posted the music video.

My phone had been ringing all day, but I was too tired to talk to anyone.

Until the ringing got out of hand.

I picked up my phone to see Wilbur calling me.

"Where have you been?" he yelled as soon as I answered the call.

"I was just really tired. What happened?" .

"Go check youtube right now" he ordered.

I opened youtube on my browser.

"Now what?" I asked, slightly annoyed.

"Look at our music video" he said.

I looked up "one day" on the search bar and waited for it to load.

Once it had loaded, I didn't need to ask any other questions, as I saw it right away.

The number of views.

10 million.

Ten million people had seen the video.

Under it were written thousands of comments saying how much they loved the song.

"No way" I whispered.

"It's true" Wilbur laughed, startling me as I had forgotten for a moment that he was still on the phone.

"And it's all thanks to you dear" he added.

Butterflies filled my stomach at the thought.

Wilbur was getting all the recognition and happiness he deserved.

His bandmates obviously deserved all of this as well, being the talented musicians they were.

But for me, what mattered more was him.

Three months doesn't seem like a long period of time to know someone, yet in these months, he managed to save me.

Before I'd met Wilbur, I would stay home all day and do nothing but overthink.

Thanks to him, I went to rehearsal, started getting good grades in uni again, and overall was happier than ever.

He managed to always be there for me.

After congratulating him, I hung up the phone.

In exactly two days from today, I would have to perform with my university's orchestra.

I was so nervous and excited at the same time.

I decided it would be best for me to practice the piece once again.

I'd take a break the following day and then practice one last time the day of the performance.

As I picked my violin up, my phone rang again.

Confused to see my mom calling me, I picked up the phone.

"Mom?" I asked.

She hadn't called in a very long time, and last time she did we didn't talk for too long.

  "Mom?" I asked confused.

"Y/n, I need to tell you something" .

"Your father and I are getting a divorce" her voice said, cracking after the last word.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

The silence that followed, was defeaning.

My mind ran through all the memories I had with my parents.
