Season One: Chapter 18

MIKASA'S POV
What if... You're stuck like this... Y/n?... What if you never come back?

"Mikasa! We have to get going!" Eren shouted as he ushered me over to follow him.

I reluctantly ran over to him and looked back at Y/n, "Please, be ok."

Y/N'S POV
He pulled his hand out of the fire as my jaw dropped, "Y- Your hand... I- It..." Steam emitted from his hand where his flesh was missing, slowly healing itself, "It healed... Are you?..."

"A Titan? Well, you can do this too. Can't you?" The man said as I carefully walked over and hesitantly sat down across from him, "So, how is it?"

I looked at him, tilting my head slightly, "Huh?"

"Your Titan abilities. It's quite fun to be able to heal from anything. Wouldn't you say?" The man smiled and warmed his hand up by the fire.

"I- I guess. But how did this happen? How did I get these powers?" I asked.

"Don't you remember? The Fall of Shiganshina?"

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head. I grabbed my head and clenched my eyes shut tightly, trying not to focus on the pain, "Just let it happen. This is just like back in the training corp, well, a little, but you won't remember it. It wasn't you. Well, not the real you at least."

N- Not the real me? The hell is he talking ab-

The pain suddenly spiked up, sharpening inside my head. It felt like one massive headache that I couldn't get over.

"Well. Shall we go?" The man said as I tried to look up at him, but I couldn't. I couldn't move a single muscle. After huge amounts of difficulty, I looked up at him as the headache disappeared.

Y/N'S POV : Ten Years Old
"T- This doesn't make any sense... T- This has to be some... Some messed up nightmare!"

I was about to turn the corner to my house, but I was stopped by someone pulling me back by my shirt, "Hey."

I quickly looked back, seeing a man I didn't recognize, "W- Who are y-"

Picking up the unconscious kid, I looked at him, "Sorry about that." I sighed and looked for a crowd of people. Carefully making my way over to the crowd, I pushed past everyone, hearing shouts and complaints, but I didn't care.

"The hell are you doing?!"

"You can't do that! I have a kid!"

"Stay back! Get on aboard, one at a time!" A man shouted.

I snuck past him and made my way onto the ship. Sitting down, I looked down, hiding my face so I wasn't recognized by anyone in the crowd, "Come back for the rest! Get these people to safety!" The man shouted, ushering the boats to leave.

Just then, the ground rumbled, followed by a loud bang and then a crash. The gate of Wall Maria was opened. I looked up, seeing, "The Armored Titan..." I secretly mumbled to myself.

I sighed and kept my eyes on Y/n while hearing everyone's shocked whispers and shouts behind me. I looked over at them and noticed two kids. One wore a red scarf and the other had green eyes.

I hid Y/n's face and turned away, waiting for the boat to get to Wall Rose.

After 2 hours, we arrived.
