CONNIE'S POV
I- Is this... The end?
"That ape Titan probably had something to do with this!" I pointed to the roof of the walls where the beast sat, roaring out into the night.
"Maybe, but we don't know for sure." Nanaba looked down, gulping, sweat trailing down her face.
"I need a damn drink..." Gelgar mumbled. He looked woozy, like he could barely stand.
"Gelgar, let's finish this!" Nanaba tightly clutched her blades. The wind slowed down to a zephyr, but the atmosphere was still tense. Did the Scouts really have a chance here?
"D- Don't die!" Krista shouted at the two. Gelgar was too zoned out to hear. He only looked down, almost falling off the castle.
"Just leave it to us." Nanaba looked at Gelgar and nodded at him, "Let's do it."
Y/N'S POV
"We're stopping here?" I looked up at the old, decrepit building. I slowly opened the door and stepped inside.
"This is more so a Scout resupply station. We barely visit this area of the wall, so we haven't used it much." Hange said, stepping inside and the other scouts lighting the torches around the room.
"Yeah, I can see why." I sighed and looked back at the wagon, Mikasa still sleeping and Rayvon watching over her, "Can't I just go and watch over her instead?" I asked.
"No, brat. Anything could happen out there." Levi said, grabbing a cloak from a rack and handing it to me, "Here."
I sighed and took it, putting it on, "Yeah, whatever."
The door on the other side then swung open as Sasha and Ariel stepped inside, "Sorry, but we have the records from the Supreme Commander!" Sasha said.
I looked at Ariel, "I don't remember you going with her."
She shook her head and pulled her hood down, "I met her on the way here."
"Where were you anyway?"
"Well-" She rubbed the back of her neck and looked down, mumbling to herself.
"Doesn't matter. Both of you are coming with us now." Levi said as he grabbed Nick and dragged him out the back door. I followed them and peeked out the door. Crowds of people with no homes, missing families, people that lost everything walking to a refugee center. They all looked broken and depressed, not a single one had even a sliver of happiness in their eyes, "See. These are the people that get hurt from those secrets you keep with yourself. Do you see how they get affected by it?"
Nick's eyes were wide and he sweated like a pig, unsure of what to do, "I..."
"Let's go." Levi pulled him back. He stood there, frozen as he looked down.
"So?" Hange asked, referring to the secrets he kept with himself, but he didn't speak, "Fine then! We don't need them anyway! We'll get them ourselves! Thanks for nothing!" Hange was about to storm out, until Nick spoke up.
"I can't say much. I'm sorry. But you must find her. She's the key." Nick said, looking at all of us.
"She?" I asked.
CONNIE'S POV
"No way... There's too many of them..." I grew more and more despondent. The more Titans that fell, more just ok their place.
"T- They can't beat them! They have to come back!" Krista shouted, leaning over the tower and looking down, "Come back! You can't die!"
Ymir pulled her back, "You're telling them not to die. You have to watch out for yourself too."
