Season One: Chapter 31

Y/N'S POV
It's your fault... And I'll kill you for everything you've done!

Clenching my fists and releasing a bit of steam, I looked at the Female Titan, seeing it's limp arms and damaged legs.

It can't attack me like that. Now's my chance!

Well, don't get cocky.

Ignoring the voice once more, I ran at the Female Titan and tried to go for a punch to it's face, but it dodged and leaned against one of the trees.

She's fast.

Of course she is, she was keeping pace with a horse at full speed. I'll try to follow her movements, if I can.

Let's just focus on immobilizing her, then I can take care of it's nape.

Suddenly, I felt another head against mine as I stumbled back, before being tripped and met with the ground below me, causing a small rumble.

Sorry about that. Wasn't focused on her.

Just let me handle this.

I quickly stood back up and tried to attack the Female Titan once again. Punch after punch after punch, but nothing, I didn't land a single one.

The Female Titan dodged one more time with a kick to my jaw, making me lose my balance a bit.

She's hit me twice and I haven't even touched her. Any ideas?

She's clearly a better fighter than you at this close range stuff. Try creating some distance.

Taking the advice, I backed up towards the trees behind me, the Female Titan getting further out of my view, growing more distant until she was just a small figure in the distance.

What now?

Didn't really have any plan. I just didn't like seeing you get your ass handed to you.

You're helpful... Wait... I... I could...

I don't like where this is going...

Throw a tree at it!

I put my hands on the tree next to me, the trunk crushing in my hand a bit as I tried to pick it up to no avail.

Well that didn't work.

Yeah... It's a tall ass tree... Oh! And watch out.

Watch what now?

I looked ahead of me and saw the Female Titan rushing towards me at full speed. My eyes widened and I stepped out of the way, making her crash into the tree behind me as it fell to the ground. I tried to catch my breath, the adrenaline running through my veins making it even harder.

"Y/n!" I heard someone shout as I looked over in their direction.

Eren!

The boy landed on my shoulder and looked at me, his eyes full of relief, "You're ok... But we should focus on that for now." Eren pointed at the monster in front of us.

How do we even beat it? I can't even land a hit.

Eren assessed the situation, "Doesn't look like you're winning." Eren snapped and lightly slammed his fist into his palm, "I got it! I'll distract it and you go for the attack."
