Y/N'S POV
The main gate lifted up, the ground rumbling a bit from the heavy stone as it made it's up until it was open enough for all of us to go through, "The 57th expedition beyond the walls has officially begun! All Scouts, move out!"

The hooves of horses rushing past me, their distant steps behind me making the ground vibrate slightly from the force that all of us were traveling, "Titans to the left!" A Scout shouted as he pointed to the left. Our eyes widened from seeing Titans so close to the wall. How did they even get this far in?

"Decoy squad! Take care of those Titans! Don't let them break up the formation!" Commander Eyebrows shouted. The decoy squad all shouted and got off their horses, most likely expecting themselves to return home. Their horses went in different directions as they engaged the Titans.

"We're nearing the open area. I don't know if I can focus." Elias mumbled as he shook his head.

"Just calm down and listen to the commander." I reassured him, a smile on my face trying to make him feel safer so he didn't get discouraged or scared.

"He's right. If you're so scared, then come and find me." Rayvon added on.

The corners of Elias's lips curved up into a small smile, thankful that the two of us were helping him, "Thanks!" Elias nodded, his voice full of determination as he sped up.

"He seems pretty scared." I looked at Elias, his figure shaking and shivering slightly.

Rayvon sighed, "He's not much of a soldier. He's more of a nuisance. Just leave him to me. If I need your help, I'll ask for it. But I'm sure it'll be the other way around." He turned his head towards me, his dark orbs mirrored my own. Full of courage and determination. They looked exactly like mine. His eyes held a calm and... Loving expression. That was the only difference. What's with that?

"Y- Yeah. Just don't look at me like that..." I looked away from him, the awkward tension between us wasn't something I enjoyed.

Rayvon let out a slight chuckle and looked forward, his eyes focused on the terrain ahead of us, "How interesting."

"Rayvon!"

The two of us looked back to see a familiar reddish-brown ponytail haired girl making her way to us, "Don't get hurt during the expedition."

"Ar- Are you telling me that?" Rayvon said, flabbergasted from her idiocy.

"Well yeah." Sasha nervously smiled, not too sure what to do. I didn't know what to do either, "I care about you..." She mumbled to herself, which I caught just barely. Rayvon didn't seem to hear.

"Sasha?" I lifted my brows and looked at her.

Her face caught a slight tint of pink, her head nodding slowly.

I snickered and covered my mouth, not wanting Rayvon to hear, "That's cute~" I hummed.

"S- Shut up!" Sasha shouted, she was angry but at the same time, I could tell she was embarrassed. Her horse almost tripped on it's own feet from her not paying attention.

"Nevermind. You stay safe too then." Rayvon shook his head.

"Ow!" Feeling a punch on my shoulder, I looked over to see, "Ariel?"

"Don't say stuff like that. You're just making her fall more... Nevermind... Just make sure she stays away from him." Ariel threatened me, a fire of hate burning in her eyes.

I gulped, "W- Why's that my job?"

She sighed and shook her head, "Forget I asked. Stay safe. Tell Rayvon too." Ariel's horse galloped farther and farther away, the grass tearing from the ground a bit from the force of it's footsteps.
