Y/N'S POV
————————————————————
"Not this again." I sighed and looked around, waiting for my eye to catch whatever I was here to see.

"You know, this doesn't seem too bad." The usual man in my head appeared behind me, his arms crossed and his expression calm.

"Yeah, well, let's see."

I walked around the forest a bit, the rustling of the trees making the situation even more tense. Screams of voices that I recognized filled the air and loud thudding footsteps rumbled the ground.

"Petra! Move up!" I overheard a familiar voice shout that caught my attention, "Petra!"

A terrified scream rang out through the forest, the birds zooming away from the treetops and the stomp over a massive foot making contact with the ground.

"Petra?" I ran past the trees ahead of me until I was at the clearing of the forest.

My eyes were met with a gruesome scene. Three bodies I recognized littered around the forest and blood covering the grass. The green of the grass becoming a dark red.

"P- Petra... Eld... Gunther..." My eyes repeatedly looked at their bodies.

"I- I'll kill you!"

"Oruo, no!" I hopelessly reached a hand up to him, hoping he'd take it, but it was all in vain. He was kicked against a tree, his body left to rot where he laid.

I looked up and saw those crystal blue eyes, that short blonde hair, and that pink flesh of that monster that stood ahead of me.

"The Female Titan really killed all of them." I glanced at the man and then back at the Female Titan, rage and guilt starting to build up inside me.

"T- This is all my fault..."

I panted heavily and tried to catch my breath, but the scene from earlier replayed in my head like a vivid nightmare that wouldn't end.

"Y/n! Get off your ass and on your feet!"

"Eld, calm down. Y/n?" A soft voice said, a small hand coming into my view.

"P- Petra?" I quickly looked up at her, my eyes widening a bit from seeing her alive and well.

"Yes?" She asked, but I didn't receive a response.

I swiftly got up and hugged her, feeling tears brim my eyes, "I- I thought you... You..." I looked at the others, a smile making its way to my face, "You're all ok..."

"We don't have time for this, Y/n." Gunther said, mounting his horse as the other two followed him.

"Tell us about it later, Y/n." Petra broke away from the hug and got on her horse. I reluctantly mounted my steed as we continued to push onwards with me falling behind the others, unable to keep their corpses out of my head.

W- What was that? T- There's no way that's real... Right?

I'm sorry.

W- What?

I ignored the voice and wiped my tears, the moisture slowly drying up on my hand as I did my best to keep up with the others. We soon made it to the end of the forest and got atop a tree, awaiting the captain's orders.

"I don't understand why the commander didn't tell us the plan." Eld brought his fingers up to his chin and leaned against the tree, the others looking at him.

"You're not saying they don't trust us, are you?" Petra asked with a small amount of doubt in her voice.

The trees rustled as the breeze started to pick up, making me shudder.
