Every fiber of myself
From my fingertips to my toes,
My eyelashes to every blood cell
All of my insides and my skin
My heart and my soul
Anything and everything
That is or ever was me)
"Love-
(And when I say love, I mean
I am constantly enchanted
Enraptured by everything that is you
Overflowing with this thick haze
Bubbling over and splashing
With this warm glittering sensation
Blooming like wildflowers inside my lungs
Making me into such a masterpiece
That I myself can barely explain with words)
"You-
(And by you, I mean
The sound of your voice
The shape of your mouth and the way
You say my name so lovingly
The way your smile wakes into dimples
And the missing tooth that you hate so much,
When it just makes me want to kiss you more
How immensely dark and mysterious
Your eyes are, and how they never fail
To turn to gold when sunlight hits them
And the way you blink so slowly
When you look at me with all that adoration
And despite how broken you claim to be,
Your pieces shimmer like precious stones
In the light that you yourself create)
