As the storm rages on
Outside my window
I'm still wishing for you
To scare away the thunder
What a dark night it is
Where has the light gone?
It left with you
I miss the sunlight
That shone through the blinds
I'm still dreaming for the day
You'll bring that warmth back
And stay by my side
So my world is no longer
As dark as it became
When you left.
