But I've never even felt your skin
I haven't ran my fingers through your hair
Or kissed your full pink lips.
This longing is eating me away
Please come home and tell me you'll stay
I can't take another day
Without you.
I miss you
Dear love, your voice is all I hear
I see you but I can't hold you
How empty I am without you near.
I'll beg and plead
I'll bruise my knees from kneeling
How can you even love these tear stained cheeks?
Don't let me go
I can't stand this distance
Each day feels like a fight in a war I never bargained for.
How can I know for sure
That you'll stay?
