Little girl, why are you crying?

There once was a little girl, sweet and innocent,
Mommy's little girl.
The step daddy yelled and made mommy cry,
The little girl cried, too.
When the step daddy went away, the little girl felt relief.
Mommy told the little girl, "Step daddy is just my friend now, I promise."
The little girl found the truth, but mom kept up the lies, even though the filthy truth shattered the windows.
The little girl cried, but believed mommy.
The little girl, from then on, believe anything anyone told her.
She trusted everyone with everything.
She would've given away her heart to a stranger if he asked nicely.
The little girl kept getting hurt from all the lies, but she kept believing in them.
Mommy would say, "Your friends are lying!" Or "That's not true!"
But the little girl didn't listen. She kept believing in her friends' lies, despite the warnings her mommy told her.
All she wanted was the truth, weather it hurt or not.
Now that little girl goes around giving her heart to the ones who remind her of herself; that sad, lonely little girl.
She gives out her love to all the other sad children, giving them the truth. She gives them everything she would want. Love, kindness, trust, the truth. She hopes that one day, she'll find someone who doesn't hurt her with lies.
