I had been wondering why life is so good to me. Perhaps bumabawi ang universe sa lahat ng pasakit na naransan ko noon.

Our three-year relationship as a husband and wife is everything. I had never been this happy my whole life. I am whole because of them.

This morning, after a number of times na kinukulit kami ni Iago na magkaroon ng kapatid, God granted his wish. It's positive. I am gonna be a mother soon the second time around.

"Hon, antagal mo dyan sa loob ng banyo. Male-late na tayo!" ani Alex.

"Wait lang hon!" I called out.

"What's taking you so long ba?" usisa nito at di na nakatiis at pumasok sa loob ng banyo. He caught me holding a piece of stick.

"Hon..I..I have good news." I don't know why I'm stammering. Siguro dahil the first time I did this, he was not around.

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" halos manlaki ang mga mata nito. Sunud-sunod ang tangong binigay ko sa kanya. Then he hugged me tight.

"But...siyempre this is different. Are you sure talaga?"

"Wait lang. Wag kang masyadong excited. We have to make sure pa. I will go to my OB muna."

"Yes. Yes." parang wala sa sarili nitong sabi.

"Pero I am delayed. Atsaka medyo nahihirapan akong bumangon. Pareho nung pinagbubuntis ko si Iago. But we need to make sure first. Huwag na muna natin ipaalam sa kanilang lahat."

"I guess you're right."

"What is that secret ha?" Iago peeked inside the bathroom.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Alex. Tumango ako.

"Ay buddy... Mom and I have good news pero di pa sure eh..."

"What is it nga?"

"Finally you're birthday gift had arrived!"

"After how many years?" Namilog ang mga mata nito. "Is that true? Is this for real? Mom?"

"Yes babe." inabot ko dito ang stick.

"What does this mean?"

"Two lines mean mommy's positive!" kinuha ko ulit ang stick at nilapag sa counter.

"I am gonna be a big brother soon???"

"Ahm..we'll make sure about that buddy. But I guess...yes! Don't say this to anyone muna okay?" masayang sabi ni Alex.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" sigaw nito at nagtatakbo.

"You don't know how much you're making me happy everyday hon..." Alex said.

"You too hon. You too."

"Thank you." then he kissed me briefly. "Hey let's go. Late na tayo. Baka kalbuhin na ako ni Ross nito."

"Oh right." then we went out of the bathroom at nag-ayos ako ng mabilis.

After an hour ay nakarating na kami sa restaurant ni Ross. We were staying kasi sa house nina Alex dito sa Angeles since bakasyon naman ni Iago.

"Sue!! Alex!!" bati ni Jake na nasa labas ng restaurant. Mukhang may kausap ito sa phone.

"Oh Jake. Nasa labas ka?"

"Hi buddy!" Nakipag-fist bump muna ito kay Iago bago kami sinagot. "I was just talking dun sa contractor namin. Ang hassle magpagawa ng bahay talaga."
