"What's got you so smirky?" Lydia asked Addeline, as the pair walked up the stairs to the Astronomy tower.
"Oh, nothing." Addeline shook her head, the smirk still ever-present on her face.
"Right." The Hufflepuff muttered, eyeing her friend suspiciously, not believing her statement, as they reached the top of the tower.
Once everyone in the class had arrived, Professor Sinistra described to them their lesson plan, a sly grin making its way onto Addeline's face when told they would be continuing their work on constellations and would be working in pairs.
Turning to Addeline, Lydia asked, "Want to work together."
Before the Slytherin girl could deny her friend's request, Lily rushed over and grabbed Addeline's arm.
"Sorry, Lyds, but Addie promised that the next time we could work in pairs during this lesson, we would work together." Lily told the brunette, before dragging Addeline away.
"Right." Lydia muttered, confused, as she adjusted her glasses on her face.
"Hey," A voice said to the girl, making her turn around, "Want to pair up?" Remus asked.
Lydia smiled, "Sure."

"Perseus." Lydia pointed out, as she looked through the telescope.
Remus took a look through the device, nodding as he looked down at the textbook.
"Yes, that is indeed one of the original Greek heroes and monster slayer." He said, messily writing down notes on their piece of parchment.
Lydia looked at him impressed, "You're learning."
Remus blushed, "Yeah, well, the topic interests you, so." He shrugged.
Lydia's face also flushed red, before the pair continued to study the constellations in the sky.
"Ursa Major." Remus noted, making Lydia use the telescope, nodding in agreement.
"Yep, the Big Dipper," She muttered, messily scribbling it down on the parchment, "You know, in Latin, Ursa Major means 'greater she-bear'."
Remus raised an eyebrow, as the pair moved to sit on the edge of the tower, "You know Latin."
Lydia shrugged, "I'm learning."
Remus looked at the girl with a soft smile on his face, "Astra inclinant, sed non obligant."
Lydia grinned, "The stars incline us, they do not bind us."
Remus nodded, "Impressive."
Lydia scoffed, "Says you. You know Latin?"
"I wanted to learn it when I was kid, so my Mum helped me." The Gryffindor boy explained.
"That's really cool that your Mum helped you with that," Lydia nodded, "I started to learn it back in third year, but I didn't really have the time so I stopped. Then, Toby gave me a copy of Alice in Wonderland - which is my favourite book - translated into Latin last week. He told me that he and Addie found it in the library, and since I know the English version from cover to cover, that it would be an easy way to learn it."
Remus gave her a confused look, "Addeline found the book in the library for you?"
"And Toby," Lydia nodded, looking over at his confused face, "Why?"
"Avery gave me this last week," Remus said, reaching behind him and pulling a large, heavy book out of his bag, handing it over to the Hufflepuff sitting next to him, "She said Addeline found it and though that I would like it."
Lydia pushed her glasses further up her nose, studying the front cover of the large book, gently running her hand over the title, "'A Guide to Greek Mythology'."
"It's isn't it?" Remus asked, raising an eyebrow, "Addeline finding us each a book that has something to do with what the other finds interesting?"
The girl looked up at Remus, seeing the look on his face, "You don't mean?"
"That my overly dramatic friend has recruited your friends into this crazy matchmaking scheme of his?" The Gryffindor finished for her, "Yes. Yes I do."
Lydia's eyebrows creased in thought, before she and the boy next to her looked over at where Addeline and Lily were working together, only to find the pair already looking at her and Remus. Noticing their friends' eyes on them, the two girls quickly looked away, giggling with each other.
"Looks like Lily's also been dragged into it." Remus chuckled, as he and Lydia looked away from the two of them.
Lydia rolled her eyes, handing Remus' book back to him, "Our friends are ridiculous."
"That they are." Remus nodded with a chuckle, stuffing the book back into his bag.
"You know, if you are interested in Greek mythology, there are way better books than that one to help teach you." Lydia told him.
"I dunno," Remus shrugged with a grin, "I kind of prefer it when you're teaching me."
Lydia blushed and bit her lip as she looked down at her now growing fingernails - thanks to their bet, "How about, I teach you more about Greek mythology and you teach me Latin."
Remus smiled, "I'd love that."
Lydia adjusting her glasses on her face, a small grin tugging on her lips, "So, do you know about the adventures of Jason and the Argonauts?"
Remus shook his head, "No."
Lydia's grin widened, "Okay, so, one of the most famous stories of Greek Mythology is of Jason and the Argonauts, and their quest for the Golden Fleece..."
