"Are you feeling better?"
"What?" Remus asked, looking up at Lydia, as she joined him in the library.
"Sirius said that you weren't in lessons yesterday because you weren't feeling well," The girl elaborated, "I just wanted to check up on you."
"Oh, right, yeah," Remus nodded, "Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better. Thanks."
Lydia smiled, getting some books out of her bag, "It was weird not having you there yesterday." She admitted.
"Were you on your own again?" Remus wondered, looking up from his homework.
"Yeah," Lydia nodded, making Remus frown, "But it's okay. I work well alone."
"I'm sorry." Remus cringed.
"Why?" Lydia chuckled, "You were ill, it's not like it's your fault."
Remus' frown deepened, "I still feel bad though."
"Don't," Lydia told him, before holding a gingernut biscuit out to him, "Biscuit?"
Remus chuckled, taking the snack out of her hand, before offering her some chocolate, "Chocolate?"
Lydia grinned, taking a piece, "You know I can never say no to chocolate."
Remus nodded, "That I do."

Lydia walked through the corridors, walking towards The Great Hall for dinner, her eyes trained on a book as she walked.
"Lyds!" A voice called out, making the girl look up and turn around to see Avery jogging towards her, "Hey." The Gryffindor grinned, walking by her friend's side.
"Hey." Lydia smiled back, closing her book.
"Watcha reading?"
"Uh, it's a guide to learning Latin." Lydia answered, showing Avery the book.
"I thought you were learning from the book that Toby and Addie found for you." The older girl said.
"Well, yeah, but I finished that a while ago," Lydia waved off, making Avery chuckle, "Remus gave me this one."
Avery raised an eyebrow, "Remus gave it to you?"
"Yeah," Lydia nodded, "I told him I was trying to learn Latin, and his mother taught him when he was younger. That was the book he used."
