"Toby, I will kill you!" Avery yelled at the Hufflepuff, as she, Toby, Addeline and Lydia stood in the latter's father's kitchen.
"What's he done now?" Olivia asked, entering the kitchen, smiling at her step-daughter and her friends, as they were gathered around the kitchen island, each with gingerbread houses in front of them.
"Tobias stole one of my gingerbread men," Avery exclaimed, pointing an accusatory finger at the Hufflepuff boy, "He stole- You stole the father of my family."
"Is it a big family?" Addeline asked.
"He has three kids and a husband."
"Progressive." Lydia nodded with a grin, chucking a piece of gingerbread at Roscoe, the golden retriever catching it gladly in his mouth, the girl smiling sheepishly at the look Olivia gave her.
"Toby! How dare you deprive this perfect, progressive family of-" Addeline started, before turning to Avery, "Does he have a name?"
Avery nodded, "Roger."
Addeline turned back to Toby, continuing, "Depriving them of Roger! Have you no shame?"
Toby bit his lip to stop laughing, chuckling the man-shaped biscuit back at the Gryffindor - who she caught with ease - before he smirked down at the short Slytherin in front of him.
"You know, it's hard to even pretend to be intimidated by you when you're so tiny."
Addeline gasped, "I am not tiny!"
"Yeah, she's fun sized!" Lydia agreed.
"You're about the same size as Roger." Toby told her with a shrug.
Addeline pursed her lips, glaring at him with one hand on her hips, as Olivia handed the girl a bag of flour.
"Just make him clean it up." The woman said, before leaving the kitchen with a wink.
Addeline looked between the bag of flour and the boy in front of her with a grin, making Toby's smirk fall.
"Addie, no." He shook his head as she picked up the bag.
"Addie, yes." Avery chuckled.
"Addie, absolutely." Lydia nodded.
"This is justice for both Roger and I." Addeline told Toby with a smirk.
"Crap." Toby muttered, before running to the other side of the kitchen, the flour war commencing.

Addeline let out a groan, as she and the other three lay around Lydia's bedroom, all four of their gingerbread houses and people now demolished, a Christmas movie playing on the Hufflepuff's small television in the background.
"I am stuffed." The Slytherin sighed, resting her head on Toby's shoulder, as they sat leaned against the bed.
"I'm not surprised," Lydia laughed, from where she and Avery were sprawled on the bed, "You didn't even wait for the opening credits to start before you ate half of your house."
"I was hungry." Addeline shrugged in her defence.
Avery pouted, "I ate Roger."
"We know," Toby nodded softly, "And we all collectively agree that it makes you a murderer." He added, making the Gryffindor lightly hit him over the head.
"Thanks for inviting us to stay the night, Lyds." Addeline told the girl with a smile.
"No problem." Lydia smiled tiredly back.
"So," Avery started, looking at her friend with a smirk, "You seeing Remus before we go back to Hogwarts."
Lydia blushed, pushing her glasses further up her nose.
"Ave." Addeline lightly scolded, hitting the older girl's foot.
"What?" Avery chuckled.
They sat in silence for a moment.
"So are you?" Addeline asked, turning to the Hufflepuff girl with a grin.
Lydia rolled her eyes, her cheeks going a darker shade of red.
"Oh, you so are!" Toby exclaimed.
"He's coming over on Tuesday." Lydia mumbled.
"What?!" Her friends all yelled, throwing their pillows at her.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Toby asked.
"He asks, after throwing his pillow at me." Lydia said, giving him a look.
"Oh, yeah." Toby nodded.
"Fair point." Addeline muttered.
Avery sighed, "This just proves we've been spending to much time with Black and Potter."
They all nodded, "Agreed.
