The friendship between Avery Lennox, Tobias Alderidge, Adeline Hawthorne and Lydia Gables had always been a confusing one. Four different people, with different personalities, three different blood statuses and three different houses.
Avery Lennox was known around the school for being a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. And a bloody good one at that. She was the oldest of the group and was quite tall, had relatively broad shoulders, beautiful dark drown eyes, and had dark brown hair that reached a few inches below her collarbone. Growing up, Avery was the second youngest in a family of eight, with three older brothers, one older sister and one younger sister, which caused her to get very competitive and determined to win, especially in Quidditch. The Half-blood was not only stubborn but also very brave and resilient with a talent for Potions. She was always the one the rest of her friends would call on if there was a spider that was threatening them or a heavy box that needed lifting. A true lion heart.
Tobias Alderidge was a Hufflepuff through and through. The Pure-blood was one of the most loyal people you would ever meet and friendship was one of the things held most dear and had a knack for Transfiguration, despite having Dyslexia. The boy was also extremely kind, sometimes too kind, him often joking it was because he was raised by two women, as his aunt had moved in with him and his mother after his father had died. He was definitely the tallest out of all his friends, standing at a towering six foot one and a half, never letting anyone leave out the half, with kind hazel eyes and light brown hair, which was always styled so that it was away out of his face, and from his eyes. He also had a younger brother, a fourth year, who was placed in Ravenclaw. Though he was tall and slim, he did have an athletic build, and not only did he play the position of Chaser on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, but he was also the team captain, hoping to one day go pro. This would often cause many small disputes between him and Avery as to which team was better, though the pair never let the game negatively impact their friendship, both always ending up to decide to disagree.
Addeline Hawthorne was a blood traitor. The only thing she had in common with Slytherins such as Severus Snape and Evan Rosier was her ambition. She was rightfully placed as, unlike them who wanted to become Death Eaters, she strived to become a respected Auror, like her mother and father. Everything she did was to make her parents proud - which they absolutely were - making her especially happy when she had been made a Prefect. Out of all of her friends, Addeline was both the youngest and the shortest, being almost a foot smaller than Tobias, which they never let her forget. She had dazzling hazel eyes, which in the right light looked green, the colour really popping out due to her green robes, dark brown locks that stopped five to six inches below her collarbone and fair, pale skin, which heavily contrasted against her hair and eyes. The Pure-blood came a long line of predominantly Ravenclaws and grew up surrounded by hard workers, a trait she herself had picked up, and unlike Avery and Tobias, she was not into sports like they were, especially being a rather poor flyer, preferring to take more interest in her studies, instead. The only child also had a fascination in both Astronomy, the Astronomy tower being her favourite place in the world, and all things muggle, often pestering her friend about the function of muggle objects, such as the rubber duck.
